- Artifact Stat Priority For Navia
One of the most fun aspects of Genshin Impact is pulling for new characters on the Gacha System and building them properly. These characters can be of both four-star and five-star rarity, but you’ll need to have their best weapons and artifacts regardless. The same goes for Navia, a five-star released in the Version 4.3 update.

Genshin Impact: Best Weapons For Navia
Navia is one of the most flexible characters in Genshin Impact when it comes to the Claymore choices since most of them suit her play style.
Navia has a Geo vision and uses Claymore as a weapon. Her kit allows her to make good use of the Crystallize reaction, which is HoYoverse’s way of bringing Geo back into the meta. Here’s everything you’ll need if you want to make her unstoppable on your account.
The Best Navia Builds
If you’ve done Navia’s trial or used her in the open world even at talent level one, you’ll realize that she doesn’t shy away from dealing a ton of damage. If you have her fully upgraded with the right weapon and artifacts, she can easily deal over 100,000 DMG on her Elemental Skill even at level one.
Navia’s kit is based around triggering multiple Crystallize reactions, and she can gain up to six stacks whenever she gets the Crystallized Shards on the battlefield. The first three stacks directly increase the amount of DMG dealt by her Skill, while the last three stacks increase the DMG by 15 percent each.
She also gains Geo infusion for four seconds after each Skill, letting you trigger more Crystallize reactions.
With all this in mind, you can have a variety of builds on Navia depending on how you want to use her:
Generic DPS Build
Artifact Set |
Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing Woods |
---|---|
Weapons |
Verdict, Serpent Spine, Blackcliff Slasher |
This is the general DPS build for Navia that can be used on her in almost every scenario. If you’re fairly new to the game and don’t have a lot of resources to funnel into this character, this build is your best choice. It includes the Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing Woods artifact set, which was specifically designed for her.
The artifact set gives you extra ATK while also increasing your Geo DMG by up to 50 percent if you’re inside a shield formed by Crystallize. This stacks with the Geo DMG Bonus you get from her Goblet and any other bonuses provided by other party members like Furina, Yelan, or Bennett.
The main problem with this build is the lack of Crit on the Artifact set, which is nullified by the weapons.
All three weapons mentioned above have Crit as their secondary stat, which goes along with her ascension stat of Crit DMG. Verdict, being her signature weapon, will give you the most value here. However, you can also use Serpent Spine and Blackcliff Slasher depending on the enemies and your team:
- If you’re about to fight a boss enemy, you can use Serpent Spine alongside a shielder that can protect you from being damaged so that you don’t lose stacks.
- On the other hand, if you’re going to fight a horde of smaller enemies, you can use Blackcliff Slasher to get extra Crit DMG and ATK boost constantly.
The Hydro Archon Special
Artifact Set |
Marechaussee Hunter |
---|---|
Weapons |
Redhorn Stonethresher, Wolf’s Gravestone, Sacrificial Greatsword |
As the name suggests, this build is only worth using if you’re going to use Navia with the Hydro Archon, Furina. Most Fontaine characters have an ability that can increase or decrease their HP, making the Marechaussee set great on them, but Navia doesn’t have any such abilities in her base kit.
However, Furina can take away the HP from all her party members, allowing Navia to trigger the effect of this set and gain up to 36 percent Crit Rate easily. Furina is also great at applying Hydro on the surrounding enemies while she’s off-field, which also makes it much easier to trigger Crystallize reactions.
You’d want to be careful while using this build since it’s very easy to over-Crit and lose value.
You only need about 40-50 percent Crit Rate if you’re using this build on Navia, which allows other weapons like the Wolf’s Gravestone or Sacrificial Greatsword to shine. You can also use Redhorn Stonethresher to get a massive Crit DMG boost that stacks with her ascension stat.
Burst DPS Build
Artifact Set |
Golden Troupe |
---|---|
Weapons |
Verdict, Blackcliff Slasher |
As mentioned above, Navia’s main DMG comes out of her Elemental Skill, which constantly deals 100,000 DMG. This build capitalizes on that aspect of her kit while allowing her to stay off-field for the rest. However, if you want to use this, you’ll need another Geo applicator like Itto, Albedo, or Ningguang on your team.
Use these characters to trigger the Crystallize reaction and gain stacks on Navia, and you only have to switch to her when you have six stacks ready to use her Skill.
Artifact Stat Priority For Navia
No matter what build you use on Navia, her main stat and sub-stat priority on the artifacts remain the same:
Artifact Type |
Main Stat Priority |
Sub Stat Priority |
---|---|---|
Flower |
HP |
Crit DMG/Rate > ATK Percent > Energy Recharge |
Feather |
ATK |
Crit DMG/Rate > ATK Percent > Energy Recharge |
Sands |
ATK Percent |
Crit DMG/Rate > Elemental Mastery > Energy Recharge |
Goblet |
Geo DMG Bonus |
Crit DMG/Rate > ATK Percent > Energy Recharge |
Circlet |
Crit Rate/DMG |
Crit DMG/Rate > ATK Percent > Energy Recharge |
It’s recommended to have a Crit DMG Circlet if you’re planning to use the Marechaussee artifact set.
The general idea of building artifacts on Navia is that you’d want to have at least 75 percent Crit Rate and 170 percent Crit DMG including the extra Crit Rate from Marechaussee. Other than that, you should stack as much ATK as possible since it can increase your overall DMG.
Navia Talent Priority
Upgrading a character’s talents is likely the easiest thing about building a character in Genshin Impact. Each character only has three talents that can be upgraded including their Normal Attacks, Elemental Skill, and Elemental Burst. For Navia, however, you might have to spend a lot more resources than other characters.
Her Elemental Skill takes priority since, as mentioned above, most of your damage comes out of this. It wouldn’t even be a problem if you take this Skill to level ten first before even trying to upgrade the others. However, it’s recommended to get every Skill on level six and then focus on the Skill.
You’ll need to fight the Narwhal weekly boss to upgrade her past level six.
After the Elemental Skill is done, you can then upgrade her Normal Attacks followed by the Burst. Even if you’re using her in the Burst DPS build, it’s still recommended to get her Normal Attacks to at least level six in case you need to use them sometimes.
Is Navia Worth Pulling?
Being a Geo Claymore character, Navia had a lot to prove since characters from that element or weapon type haven’t been the best in the past. However, she shot right past everyone’s expectations and stood right at the top of the meta because of her massive damage and Crystallize usage.
Of course, Navia might not be the best DPS character in the game with the likes of Hu Tao present, but she can easily clear the hardest content if you invest enough resources into her. Apart from all this, she’s single-handedly one of the coolest characters you’ll ever own because of her animations and voice lines.
At the end of the day, you should always pull for characters you think you’ll have fun with.
