The Canadian manufacturer Youtooz has announced a new wave of figures for some of them PlayStationIconic video game characters and interested parties won't have to wait long for these collectibles to release. PlayStation has hosted unforgettable franchises exclusive to the platform, including Ghost of Tsushima, The last of usand, more recently, the Astrobots games. Fans have already been able to collect figures of Jin Sakai, Joel and Ellie and even Longneck from the Horizon series across other companies Figma, Funko and LEGO, and Youtooz is looking to bring some of these prolific protagonists to life through their unique designs.

Youtooz was founded in 2019 and produces licensed collectible vinyl caricature figures that reimagine characters from across the broad spectrum of pop culture. The company has also partnered with notable internet personalities Markiplier, Ninja and Pokimane to offer franchises such as The witcher, Fall, Elden Ringand more, a nice restyling. The Game Awards recently announced their nominations for the 2024 event, which included a major hit Astrobots as a Game of the Year contender, and the robot's popularity as a PlayStation exclusive continues in the Youtooz lineup.

Some of these new figures will tap into players' nostalgia, similar to Youtooz's previous release of a Banjo-Kazooie collectible and all will make great display pieces on fans' shelves. The cute aesthetic, or chibi as it is known in japan, is a popular style in pop culture products, and the Baldur's Gate 3 WizKids miniature figures have taken it a step further with their small size. Since Sly Cooper, Ratchet and Clank, and Astro Bot are all cherubic by nature, Kratos is the only figure in the lineup who drastically alters the character's ways.

The Last of Us Part 2Ellie has received a Nendoroid figure in the past, but the Naughty Dog figures are notably missing from Youtooz's PlayStation wave. However, the company asked its Twitter followers what other characters they would like to see in the PlayStation collection, hinting that more characters are yet to arrive.
