With the sole exception of Cricket 22 (removed July 5), 2024 saw Microsoft maintain its usual practice of pulling games from its subscription service every two weeks, in the middle and at the end of each month. Most recently, Xbox Game Pass lost Persona Tactics 5 and six more titles on November 15.

Xbox Game Pass hasn't missed the most titles in a single month all year
With nine removals in total, the next catalog rotation will tie the 2024 record for the most Xbox Game Pass removals in a single day. The only other time Xbox Game Pass lost nine games at once this year was on September 30th. September has also been the busiest month this year in terms of XGP departures so far, with 15 total removals. This record is about to be broken, as the nine games leaving the service later today will push the November 2024 removal count up to 16.
Seeing how Xbox Game Pass only added nine new titles over the course of November, this month will be another net negative for its content catalog. While occasions like these were quite rare, the XGP library is now set to shrink for the third consecutive month.
Whether this trend will continue should become clear in a matter of days, when Microsoft is expected to announce the first half of December 2024 Xbox Game Pass releases, as well as the December 15 wave of departures. It is already known that the first group includes the Early Access version of Reversed AND Indiana Jones and the Great Circlewhich will arrive on December 5th and 9th respectively.
