World of Warcraft gave players their first look at campsites, collectible backgrounds that they can use to customize character select screens. Fans can look forward to collecting four new campsites World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, with more planned to be released in future updates.
Recently, Blizzard revealed that it will be adding new ways for players to customize their warband's character select screen. World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 introduces the ability to set up multiple camps for your characters, each of which can be customized with unlockable names and backgrounds.

Now that patch 11.1 has arrived World of Warcraft Public Test Realm, fans got a closer look at this new system, including the first set of wallpapers and where they are obtained. In addition to Adventurer's Rest, the name given to Warbands' original character select screen, there are four new camps to collect in patch 11.1: Ohn'ahran Overlook, Cultists' Quay, Freywold Spring, and Gallagio Grand Gallery. Oh content creator MrGM has already posted a helpful video showing most of these campsites and how they are obtained.

The Ohn'ahran Overlook, with the Ohn'ahran plains from Flight of the Dragonsis obtained automatically by logging in after Patch 11.1. The Cultists' Quay, located in the Nightfall Sanctum Delve in Hallowfall, is obtained from the Delver's Journey for season 2. Meanwhile, the Freywold Spring from the village of the same name and the Gallagio Grand Gallery are present in World of Warcraft The new raid of patch 11.1, Liberation of Undermine, is obtained by completing the All That Khaz and Racing to a Revolution meta-achievements respectively.
These campsites and their acquisition methods can be found in a new tab in the Collections pane, allowing players to easily preview and unlock them. On the character select screen itself, campsites now have their own tab at the top, allowing fans to choose campsites for their characters – or even randomly choose from favorite backgrounds each time they log in.
These customizable character selection screens are all based on the structure created by the Warbands system introduced in World of Warcraft: The War Withindemonstrating that Blizzard intends to continue innovating this feature in the future. Fans can look forward to unlocking campsites along with mounts, pets and other collectibles as more are added later – and hopefully not just in new content, but in old areas, holiday events, Trading Post and even in the cash shop.
