Patch 11.1, aptly named Undermined, introduces World of Warcraft players will be able to mine, a sprawling underground metropolis and the Goblin capital. Despite its size, the massive zone won't allow fans to fly, instead relying on DRIVE, a dynamic, customizable, mount-like car that can zip through city streets even faster than Skyriding can. When it was first introduced, World of Warcraft The new Breakneck races have also been confirmed, which will exploit the DRIVE system to its full potential.

The second Plunderstorm series arrives in World of Warcraft, bringing with it new abilities, features, and rewards for pirates and players.
However, a second type of race is coming to the patch. Skyrocket races are a new type of challenge that, instead of using traditional flying or skyriding, is mounted World of Warcraftuse Goblin jetpacks to rocket through the sky. When racing, players use a new movement style that strikes a balance between both existing flight systems, as they cannot stop while in the air like with Steady flight, but they don't lose momentum or altitude like in Skyriding. As seen in the video provided by Oh MrGM, content creator of the Public Test Realm, racers gain speed with each ring they collect, but the faster they go, the less responsive their turn becomes, making Skyrocket races more difficult than they initially appear.
New Skyrocket races in World of Warcraft patch 11.1
Since there is no skyriding in Undermine, there are no skyriding races in the area either. That said, both the Breakneck and Skyrocket races will have achievements for completing each race with Bronze, Silver, and Gold times. There are also reverse versions of all four Skyrocket and DRIVE Breakneck races World of Warcraftalthough it doesn't seem like they have advanced courses or challenges like some Skyriding races do.

Initial reception to these new Skyrocket races was mixed. While some fans are excited to try them, others think the flight feels incredibly stiff and unresponsive, especially when compared to Skyriding. Fortunately, World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 is still in development, so these races still have time to be further refined before they become available with the update, probably in February.
