Now, just a week after the news Classic WoW anniversary servers have been activated, this popular feature has already been added to the game. Players can now visit any of their class trainers and pay a fee of 50 gold to activate a second talent setup, after which they can freely swap between them while out of combat in most areas of the game. Characters can't get this feature until they reach level 40, so fans may have to keep leveling up for the option to appear at the appropriate NPCs.

Dual Spec is a feature that allows players to switch between two different talent configurations while out of combat. Each array has its own hotbar setup, allowing fans to easily adapt their playstyle on the fly without having to go back to a class coach, pay for a full respec, and adjust their hotbars. The functionality itself was originally added The Wrath of the Lich Kingand although Dual Spec has been added World of Warcraft classic Season of Discovery, otherwise it would never have arrived so soon on retro servers.
Players should note that switching to other talent specs will reset Rage, Energy, and Mana to zero, so fighting immediately after is deadly for most classes. If hardcore fans don't want to lose their characters like Mizkif did while streaming from his WoW South Park episode-themed basement, they should first make sure to take a moment to recover their resources.
