Waze has officially added several World of Warcraft navigation app options, including the voice of Thrall's companion, a dragon vehicle, and Alliance and Horde-themed mood icons. These free World of Warcraft customizations are already available on the Waze app for fans to enjoy with no purchase necessary.
While there are many different navigation apps on the market for users to choose from, Waze stands out with its breadth of fun customization options and interactivity with other drivers who use it. The Google-owned GPS features charming icons for drivers, as well as tons of different helpers to provide voice direction and narration, like one that mimics a classic fantasy RPG NPC straight out of a Dungeons and dragons game.
Now, Waze has added some new options inspired by World of Warcraft. Waze users can choose Thrall, voiced by the legendary Warcraft creative director Chris Metzen, as their navigation assistant. The iconic Orc Shaman provides spiritual guidance to the driver as he helps him navigate. When encountering traffic, he says things like “breathe: this is not the end of the world” and refers to U-turns as “a clever strategy to fool any pursuers on our tail”, saying “this is not a retreat; simply a tactical maneuver Guided by the gentle tones of the legendary former Warchief of the Horde, fans can take a little bit of Azeroth with them on their journeys.

He's not the only one World of Warcraft option available in Waze now. In addition to the Thrall companion, fans can select a red dragon mount World of Warcraft to represent your vehicle on the navigation map. Additionally, they can choose between two moods, which change the appearance of their vehicle to other Waze users: an Alliance soldier or a miniature Orc for those who want to represent the Horde.
THE World of Warcraft Waze options are available in most places where the app is available, but the Thrall companion currently only has an English version. Both the app and the World of Warcraft Customizations are free, so fans can enjoy them at no additional cost.
