Wonder Pick Part 1 and 2 (Squirtle and Charmander)

Pokemon Pocket launches its third Wonder Pick event, introducing two new Promo-A variants: Charmander (PA 032) and Squirtle (PA 033). These cards retain the original moves and stats but feature updated graphics.

During the event, you can also complete tasks and missions to earn special shop tickets, which can be used to purchase new themed accessories. Here's everything you need to know Pocket'S January 2025 Wonder Pick event.

January Wonder Pick event details, part 1

The January Wonder Pick event is an RNG-based activity in Pokemon Pocketgiving players the chance to obtain one of two new Promo-A cards: Charmander (PA 032) and Squirtle (PA 033). The first part of the event will last two weeks, from January 6, 2025 at 10:00 pm to January 20, 2025 at 9:59 pm local time.

During parts 1 and 2 of the Wonder Pick event, you can participate in bonus and rare Wonder Picks, each with a different drop rate for Squirtle and Charmander Promo-A Vol.3.

Bonus miracle picks

Bonus Wonder Picks are free offers that include one of two Promo-A cards (or their regular variants) along with four slots of Wonder Hourglasses or Event Ticket Shops. While it is unconfirmed how often a Miracle Bonus Pick will appear during the event, data calculations suggest that every time an Event Pick appears, there is a 20.00% chance that it will be a Bonus Pick.

Choices of rare wonders

Rare Chosen have a 2.50% chance of appearing during the event. But when they do, they'll definitely reward you with one of two featured Promo-A cards. The distribution of cards in each Rare Pick is based on the RNG, but each card (Squirtle and Charmander) can occupy from one to four slots, making the chances vary from 25% to 80%.

Wonder Pick Part 1 event missions and rewards

In Part 1 of January's Wonder Pick event, you can complete five basic missions to earn tickets to the event shop (Blastoise). These tickets can then be spent in the “Limited Time/Events” section of the store to purchase new thematic accessories.

Charmander and Squirtle's Wonder Pick event has a second part that will launch on January 15th and end on the 21st. While no new promotional cards will be introduced, it will contain new missions and rewards.

Wonder Pick Part 2 event missions and rewards

In the second part, you will receive a list of ten new quests, including tasks to collect Water and Fire Pokemon. The reward includes more Event Store Tickets (up to 22), which can be spent on Part 2 accessories.

Tips and things to know about Wonder Pick events

Here are some notes to keep in mind:

• Your tickets will be transferred. Event store tickets will remain in your inventory until January 29, giving you a few extra days after the event ends to decide which limited-time accessory to purchase. (If the information extracted from the data is accurate, you will need a total of 31 tickets to purchase all items in Parts 1 and 2.)
• You will not receive notifications for rare and bonus picks. It's a good idea to log in every 30 minutes or an hour to check if you've received any, as the game won't notify you while you're offline.
• All Wonder Picks count towards event quests. You don't need to spend your Wonder Pick stamina on event offers. Any choices during the event will contribute to the progress of your mission.
• Avoid wasting resources on rare choices. Focus on drawing Promo-A cards from the free Bonus Picks and only invest in Rare Picks if the event is nearing the end and you are short of AP variants.
