Let's face it: decorating in farming games costs a lot of in-game coins. Furniture is usually very expensive for a beginning farmer. Luckily, you can get the Marsh painting free.
You will have to find the swamp painting by exploring Mirthwood. The painting is found in the camp of an NPC located in Darkwater Marshes.
Head to Murkwater Marshes, south of Brightoak. To accurately find the NPC, open your map while in the marshes and look at the words “Murkwater Marshes” on the map. The NPC camp will be right above the “a” in “Murkwater”.
The NPC will have a tent, a pot, a white horse, and an easel with the swamp painting on it. You can freely take the painting without losing morality or upset the NPC.
The paintings cannot be sold
and are purely decorative.
Furniture can be found in your
selection wheel
where you can go from healing to tools. Select the painting in this menu to begin placing it. Remove paintings from the wall by pressing R in Build Mode.
