You’ll need to fight off enemies, stave off hunger, and build up a village in your Lego brick world. While adventuring, you’ll need to collect numerous types of materials.

Some materials you find will be used to upgrade your equipment or crafting table. Some will help you build the Lego paradise of your dreams. Brightcore is one of the materials you will need to gather, as it is important for several upgrades. Here’s how you can get Brightcore in Lego Fortnite.
Where To Find Brightcore
To find Brightcore, you will first need to make your way to the desert biome. You can explore caves throughout the Dry Valley to get valuable ores and metals.
However, Brightcore will only be found in Lava Caves. If you enter a cave and there isn’t lava and magma flowing in it, you should try a different one.
Brightcore will typically be found closer to the lava itself. Hop down, or glide down, to where you see ore deposits close to the lava pools. Brightcore deposits will have pieces with an orange-ish hue poking out from grayer stone.
To mine and break down Brightcore, you will need to have a Rare Pickaxe. Using any lesser pickaxe will just bounce off the ore. If you’re trying to farm as much Brightcore as you can in one trip, make sure to bring multiple Rare Pickaxes, too.
After leveling up your village, you can talk to one of your villagers and give them a job collecting resources. It’s possible that they will give you additional Brightcore. Additionally, you may randomly find Brightcore in chests throughout the world.
What Brightcore Is Used For
Once you obtain Brightcore for the first time, several new recipes will unlock for you. The biggest are two types of Utility Tables.
Both the Metal Smelter and Oven require Brightcore to create. The Metal Smelter will be important to create metal bars from certain ores, and the Oven will help you make increasingly better consumable items.
If you want to light up your home, you’ll need some Brightcore for that, too. Lighting fixtures, such as Night Lights or Lamps, will require varying amounts of Brightcore.
