Fortnite: where to find the No Emote sign

Players can troll their friends or just find a hilarious way to get back to the lobby with this emote-free sign in Fortnite Battle Royale.

With three different types of Sprites found in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1, it's pretty important for players to know how each one works and how to find them, as Water, Air, and Earth Sprites can have their advantages, especially when used in conjunction with a Sprite Shrine.

Where to Find Water Spirits (and What They Do)

water spirit

  • A magical water sprite: this curious little creature wants to help you on your adventures! Throw it down to create a circle of healing rain.

Water Sprites are very similar to their Air Sprite cousins and can be found throughout the map. They're not rare, but some hot spots where players can find these adorable little creatures will be in the snowy mountains of Demon's Dojo, in the forests of Magic Mosses, and around the Giant Turtle between Whiffy Wharf and Flooded Frogs. They're pretty common and pretty useful for players who want a decent, cuddly ally.

When cast, a Water Sprite will release a circle of healing rain that can instantly provide players with 30 Health or 30 Shields depending on what they're missing. Every second, players will regenerate 2 health points or 2 shields and can cast the water sprite again to repeat this effect approximately every 20 seconds. They are very useful for players who

Where to Find Air Spirits (and What They Do)

spirit of the air

  • A magical air sprite: this whimsical little creature wants to help you on your adventures! Throw it down to create an air vortex!

Air Sprites are usually found around the Chapter 6 Season 1 map alongside Water Sprites. They can also be found under Shogun X's floating island that appears after the 4th Storm Circle. However, players who want to find them early in their games should head to the forest areas of the map, such as Nightshift Forest and Magic Mosses, where Air Sprites will usually wander around waiting for a player to catch them.

Players who have managed to capture an Air Sprite will be able to throw it onto the floor, thus creating an air vortex in place as a temporary wind tunnel that can be used to fly up and glide away. . It's a great way to keep a portable launch pad on hand, ready for when players want to spring into action or step away from it.

Where to find earth spirits (and what they do)

spirit of the earth

Earth Spirits are a little strange compared to other Sprites, as they can't be found around the map and they definitely aren't adorable. Earth Spirits can be found anywhere in static spawns Fortnite's, Chapter 6, Season 1, and some notable places to look are west of Flooded Frogs or north of Demon's Dojo.

The spawn rate of Earth Sprites is extremely low to the point that many players expect this to be a glitch, as Earth Sprites will appear in Theater Mode, but not in-game for Battle Royale.

Earth Spirits are an unusual addition to the Sprite family, as they are not like their Air and Water cousins. Instead, Earth Sprites will remain stationary in static locations and will be noticed by their rock formation and moss-covered tree faces. When approaching an Earth Sprite, players can swap an item in their equipment with the Earth Sprite. Trading a higher rarity weapon is better for loot as the Earth Sprite will consume what it is given and then spit out some treasure. Giving the Earth Sprite something like an epic weapon will see a legendary weapon return randomly, providing a high-risk, high-reward gamble between the player and the Earth Sprite.

Where to find spirit shrines

All spirit shrine locations

Sprite Shrines are beautiful to look at, and players can easily find them by looking up at the sky and following the white rays of light that act as beacons. Each Sprite Shrine has around 2 normal chests that can be looted in its place, and there is also an additional mechanic that can be activated in the shrine. If players approach the shrine and interact with it, it will reveal all Sprites in the nearby area:

  • Blue Icons – Water Sprites
  • Yellow icons – Air Sprites

That's not all, as players can bring a Water or Air Sprite to the Sprite Shrine to bring it back to the shrine, which will see a myriad of rewards with mostly a random Favor (acts like the Chapter 4 Power-ups where players will have a random effect (such as faster reloading or healing in water) and a random epic rarity weapon. Two imps will also pop out of the shrine for players to collect again.
