GTA 3's strangely responsive moon has finally been explained.
However, the Moon is far from a peaceful destination: it is home to huge worms that can be quite annoying. If you're looking for a challenge, you can hunt down six crystals hidden on the Moon. If you're ready, this guide will help you locate them all with ease.
All locations of crystals in the Moon
After reaching the Moon, you can find a total of six crystals there. You need to pick them up and place them in the locker located outside the spawn area. Although the television screen above the cabinet where you place the crystals shows their location, it is not a very reliable source due to the black-and-white display and unclear image quality.
For this task the use of the balloon jetpack is highly recommendedas its vertical mobility allows you to observe the ground from above, making it easier to locate crystals.
Where to find the yellow crystal
To find the yellow crystal, exit the crater where the base is located. Around the crater you will see a circular path with three satellite dishes nearby. Stand directly in front of satellite dishes, then follow the path to follow. When the path splits, continue straight. After passing the crater on your left, you will reach the end of the trail.
Here, you will see a buggy parked on a platform. Behind the stroller, you will find two astronauts and the yellow crystal will be in their area.
Where to find turquoise crystal
To find the Turquoise Crystal, use your jetpack to ascend from the crater where the base is located. Once outside, you will see three satellite dishes near the crater. Look away from the direction satellite dishes are pointing and continue along the path in front of you. When the path splits, turn right towards the large frog statue.
Continue on this path and you will come across two pieces of broken space satellite. Stop there and use your balloon jetpack to go up with your back to the frog statue. Look for a hill with a boulder on top; this hill is where you will find the turquoise crystal.
Where to find the purple crystal
To find the purple crystal, exit the base crater. Around the crater you will notice a circular path with three satellite dishes nearby. Position yourself directly in front of where the satellite dishes are located. Follow the same path you took to find the yellow crystal.
When the path splits, look at the hill on the left. At the top of this hill, you will see a pink Space Invaders game. The purple crystal is also found on this hill near the Space Invaders game.
Where to find the orange crystal
To find the orange crystal, exit the base crater using the balloon jetpack. Hover your mouse up to reach the circular path surrounding the base crater. Head towards the path located behind the base sheltermaking sure the three satellite dishes are on your right.
Follow this path for a considerable distance until you reach reach a platform with a parked buggy. At this point the path splits. Take the path to the left and continue until find a crater on your right containing three anthills. The orange crystal is found inside this crater.
Where to find the green crystal
To find the green crystal, exit the crater where your base is located. Use the balloon's jetpack to fly up and head towards the area with three satellite dishes. Turn your back to the direction the satellite dishes are facing and follow the path ahead. When the path splits, turn left, keeping the large frog statue behind you.
When the path splits again, turn left again and enter a large crater with a large blue launcher inside. Fly towards the launcher and past it, you will see a hill outside the crater. On this hill you will find the green crystal waiting for you.
Where to find the red crystal
To find the red crystal, exit the crater where your base is located. Use the balloon's jetpack to climb to the edge of the crater and head towards the three satellite dishes. Position yourself on the circular road that surrounds the crater, keeping the satellite dishes on your right. Follow the circular road and when you you see the second rock on your right, stop.
Turn your back on the rock and follow the path that leads to the hovering space satellite that emits a green mining laser. When the path splits, take the right fork. As you continue, keep an eye on your left. Once you spot a buggy, stop and check the hill behind its location. You will find the red crystal on this hill.
