Electronic Arts has released a new update for MySims: Cozy packageand the December 2024 patch notes also outline new features coming in 2025 and a list of community concerns currently under investigation. The developer noted that the team has been working on a number of bug fixes since the beginning MySims bundle launched, and the developers hoped that these fixes would allow players to dive back into their creative builds over the holiday period.
MySims is a spin-off of Maxis The Sims franchise, originally released in 2007 on the Wii and Nintendo DS. A 2008 re-release saw the game added on PC and mobile devices, and the Cozy package arrived on Nintendo Switch in November 2024. The Sims 4 is hosting its own intimate celebrations for the holiday season, and players can currently earn an ugly Christmas sweater by completing the fifth questline. During the latest Nintendo Direct, a MySims: Cozy Bundle was announced, and the seemingly random reveal may be more than meets the eye.
Described in an Electronic Arts blog post, a list of new features and bug fixes was included in the patch notes MySims: Cozy packageDecember update. One notable added feature is the new “teleport” interaction, which allows NPCs to teleport to a safe location after getting stuck in their path. For MySims players who want to build their own house, another feature includes an increase in the limits of placed objects by 50%, for exteriors, furniture and interiors. Additionally, a pointer speed slider has been added to the Options menu to allow players to adjust sensitivity.
