The Masked Singer episode 8: Orca revealed to be Aussie

The celebrity reveals kept coming in Tuesday’s episode of The Masked Singer, as the show moves to two nights a week in the countdown to the season finale.

After a wistful performance of the Fleetwood Mac classic Dreams, the Orca was revealed as …

…Amy Sheppard, singer from the Australian pop-rock band Sheppard. With three albums under their belt, the group are best known for their 7 x platinum-selling, number 1 single Geronimo, released back in 2014.

The judging panel couldn’t pick it this time: They’d guessed Orca could’ve been Kate DeAraugo, Daryl Hannah, Mischa Barton or a member of top-selling US country group The Chicks.

The reveal comes an episode after one of the biggest surprises of the season: That “Burger Gal” was none other than a member of pop music’s royal family, the Jacksons.

Orca’s elimination leaves just four contestants left on the show this season: Bouncer and Grim Reaper, who many viewers have guessed since day one are singers Conrad Sewell and Darren Hayes respectively. Then there’s Snow Fox and Cowgirl, who we’ve picked as US Glee star Amber Riley and drag icon Courtney Act. But next Monday, a new wildcard contestant joins the competition: Can they challenge the final four?

Here are the full list of celebs revealed so far this season:
Episode one: US actor Brian Austin Green

Episode two: Ten newsreader Sandra Sully

Episode three: Summer Warne, daughter of late cricketing legend Shane

Episode four: The Block judge Shaynna Blaze

Episode five: UK Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby

Episode six: Aussie singer-songwriter Pete Murray

Episode seven: LaToya Jackson.

The Masked Singer continues next Monday and Tuesday, 7:30pm on Ten.
