Star Wars has a rich history when it comes to video games that dates back almost as far as the original trilogy. Countless games spanning more than four decades, and there are collections out there that group some of them together to make them easier and more convenient to play. The Heritage Pack is one of those collections, and if you act quickly, you can get the seven-game bundle for half the price you would normally pay.

The Star Wars Heritage Pack launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch in 2023 and includes seven games from a galaxy far, far away. Included in the cartridge are both Knights Of The Old Republic titles, The Force Unleashed, and four other classic Star Wars games. It's still $79.99 if you buy the collection through the Nintendo Store, but half the price if you pick it up elsewhere.

It's worth noting that all three retailers are selling the collection for less as standard, so even if you're reading this after the initial sale ended, if you're on the hunt for some Star Wars game nostalgia while as we prepare to turn the corner into the holiday season, it's better to purchase a physical copy through a third-party retailer rather than going directly to the Nintendo source.

The Switch's Star Wars Heritage Pack is not to be confused with Fanatical's Star Wars Collection. While it includes many of the same games, the Fanatical bundle includes double the titles and is only compatible with PC.

None of the stores selling the Switch game at a lower price indicate how long it will remain available at a lower price. However, Best Buy has applied a Black Friday offer label that suggests this is a long-term discount. Black Friday is still ten days away, which could mean the Heritage Pack will remain available for $40 instead of $60 (or $80) for the next two weeks. This isn't guaranteed, of course, and there's no way to even know how many copies of the game each of the retailers has left in stock.
