This is especially pertinent given this game's focus on mining, as players can't simply find a nice place to camp and clear an area of zombies, they'll keep coming until the characters have been eaten or mined.
2 Increased number of players
Maps can contain up to eight players
This game has greatly expanded the number of players available on a map, another advantage of maps is much larger. Players can join up to seven other friends to work together on completing mission objectives and extraction.
There is a great level of tactical depth that comes from playing in such a large group. Do you split yourself up to complete goals more efficiently? Or stick together for safety, but face a progressively more aggressive horde as objectives are completed?
1 More gear and loot
Equipment offers an opportunity for progress
This game includes much more loot and equipment than its predecessor. A particular area of improvement concerns the customization of weapons, which now have numerous additional accessories to make them more effective.
The delightful twist to this increase in gear and loot is that, similar to skill progression, a character with a cool, custom weapon has a lot more to lose should the horde overwhelm them.
