7 Star Wars Squadrons
Fly through the galaxy as custom pilots
Instead of one, Star Wars Squadrons has two protagonists that the player can control and customize to their liking in epic and authentic space battles, as there are two sides to the story and online multiplayer: New Republic and Imperial. With pilots on both sides, there is the ability to customize both the pilot and the starships.
On the one hand, Star Wars Squadrons It features impressive visuals that make all the available options for pilots and ships look beautiful. On the other hand, the options are quite limited and require a lot of grinding or the use of microtransactions to unlock all of them, including some of the best ones.

Creating a custom Jedi character was an idea ahead of its time

One of the first times players were allowed to create their own Jedi, Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy was ahead of its time. Playing as either male or female Jaden, players are able to transform them into Human, Rodian, Twi'Lek, Kel Dor, or Zabrak, each with head, torso, and leg options.
Although the options were limited in Jedi Academyespecially by today's standards, it was a breath of fresh air for fans in 2003 to control their own Jedi Knight, made from scratch. This also included the first opportunity to customize lightsabers, with options for hilt styles and multiple lightsaber blade colors, including yellow, purple, and orange.
5 Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order
Where ponchos disappoint, the lightsaber excels
Before Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen OrderLightsaber customization used to be as simple as picking a hilt and a color. However, with so many different looks and classes of lightsaber introduced over the years, Respawn Entertainment has taken it a step further by allowing mixing and matching of emitters, switches, knobs, and grips along with even more colors than ever before.
Most of the lightsaber options in Order Fallen can be found in chests on planets, which makes 100% completion much more worthwhile because there are so many options to unlock. There are also options to customize Cal Kestis, but they are notoriously disappointing because they are all ponchos with only a select few that look good.
4 Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2
Two lightsabers allow for fun mixing and matching colors
As an update from the first game, Starkiller now wields dual lightsabers in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II to battle legions of enemies with hack-and-slash gameplay. As a result, players can unlock various hidden Kyber crystals throughout the campaign, just like in the first game.
However, The Force Unleashed II expands customization by allowing for color-matching or mixing, such as one blade being red and another being blue. Since each Kyber crystal has different passive traits, from extra damage to healing, it allows players to experiment to find the loadout they like best or simply what colors appeal to them aesthetically.
3 Star Wars Outlaws
Kay Vess dresses like a skilled criminal
Kay Vess herself features a simple yet effective customization in Star Wars Outlaws. It offers multiple options for its torso, legs and holster belt, allowing the ability to create the ideal look for a criminal in Star Wars underground world. Some can be unlocked through chests and side missions, while others are exclusive to certain criminal syndicates and require a good reputation to unlock.
Star Wars Outlaws also features customization for Kay Vess’s little companion Nix, her ship known as the Trailblazer, her speeder bike, and even her blaster. It’s not just cosmetic changes, though, as some options give Kay and her gear bonus effects that can help with damage, stealth, health, and more.
2 Star Wars: The Old Republic
MMO is the perfect creator of OC
Taking what was originally done with Knights of the Old Republic, Star Wars: Knights of the Republic goes further by allowing for the creation of custom characters. Jedi, Sith, troopers, bounty hunters, smugglers, and Imperials are the available classes with a plethora of races to choose from along with genders.
Players can spend hours poring over the available cosmetic options for faces, outfits, hair, scars, and other character cosmetics to create their ideal character. This doesn’t even include the different outfits, weapons, and other character skins that can be unlocked across the plethora of beautiful planets over hundreds of hours of gameplay.
1 Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Cal Kestis is the most customizable character yet
After the poncho fiasco of the first game, Respawn Entertainment has gone all out to customize Cal Kestis from head to toe. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Cal now has a variety of outfits to mix and match, reminiscent of a scoundrel, a Jedi, a bounty hunter, a soldier, and more with jackets, shirts, and pants. In addition, Cal can be given a variety of hairstyles and facial hair, with many options to unlock.
But that's not all: Cal's lightsaber, with its five variants, has even more options for components and colors than in the first game. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor It also gives Cal a blaster that is as customizable as the lightsaber and its companion BD-1, making it the most in-depth customization in Star Wars games to date.
