Collaborations in video games have become common in recent decades, especially in competitive multiplayer titles such as Street fighter 6. Capcom's flagship fighting franchise has a long history of lending its characters to other video games, and its most recent collaboration with Destiny 2 was recently leaked on X (formerly known as Twitter). The potential crossover will feature Ghost Shells skins in the image of Ryu, Chun-Li, and Cammy. While this collaboration is quite cute and fun, it would be more intriguing and impactful if Street fighter 6 I borrowed some Destiny 2the iconic characters of.
THE Destiny the franchise also has a long series of crossovers. It started with subtle references to other games like Halo AND Dark souls in 2014. By 2022, however, Destiny 2 has intensified its collaborations with other games such as Fortnitewhich contained skins for Commander Zavala, Ikora Rey, and Exo Stranger. More recently, however, the game has borrowed from other titles. With a collaboration with one of the biggest fighting franchises on the horizon, it would be interesting to see Destiny 2 lending its iconic characters to a completely foreign game genre.

How Destiny 2 characters could fit into Street Fighter 6
Street fighter 6 only recently began bringing in characters from other franchises as playable units. Terry Bogard from Fatal fury AND King of fighters fame is the first, while Mai (from the same game series) will be released in 2025. This crossover was well received by fans, as some were disappointed by the previous one SF6 collaborations with titles such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles it did not feature any playable characters. The proverbial doors have been opened for other games to enter their characters into the World Fighting Tournament, and Destiny 2The cast of is full of fighters qualified for the job.
Commander Zavala is the perfect choice for a Brawler or Grappler
It would seem unfair to Destiny 2The Guardians want to introduce firearms into actual fistfights, so you'll have to send in a character who's good at hand-to-hand combat. Commander Zavala has shown some close quarters battles in the past. His Prelude video even shows him blasting away enemies with a power punch. This Titan would probably fit as a fighter like Zangief or a fearsome brawler like Marisa.
Ikora Rey would make a great Zoner
Guardians are likely trained for close-quarters battles, as evidenced by their different melee choices per subclass. Perhaps the most interesting ones come from Warlocks like Ikora Rey, as they can launch projectiles using their close-quarters bodies. It's not hard to imagine her as a zonar like JP Street fighter 6hurling balls of lightning and arcane needles at anyone who dares challenge the leader of the Warlock Vanguard.
Destiny 2 skins would be great for SF6 too
If the playable characters are too large, there are other ways to do this Destiny 2 to which to lend his characters Street fighter 6. As with the TMNT AND Monster Hunter collaborations a SF6the game could introduce Destiny 2 cosmetics. Zavala's Titan armor would be perfect for Zangief. Meanwhile, Ken's confident personality and fast-paced playstyle make him a great candidate for a Cayde 6 outfit. Ryu and Luke's protagonist status make them obvious choices for the default Titan, Warlock, or Hunter skins Guardian.
Even if it makes sense Destiny 2to move on to other shooter titles, it's much more interesting to see them outside their comfort zone, like fighting games. It would be great to see them fight against the SF6 cast using their unique abilities. However, it might be more realistic for them to appear as fighter skins.
