Sydney Sweeney stuns at Anyone But You premiere in New York | Photos

Sydney Sweeney brought sheer glamour to the US premiere of her buzzy new movie.

The US actress, 26, hit the red carpet in a sparkling Miu Miu gown at the debut of her rom-com Anyone But You in New York Monday night, local time.

Sweeney’s crystal embellished dress was accessorised with a thick black belt, while the Euphoria star styled her hair in a glamorous bun.

She was joined by co-star Glen Powell on the red carpet at AMC Lincoln Square, as the pair posed for photographers amid ongoing romance rumours.

The duo filmed their upcoming movie in Sydney, Australia, earlier this year, before returning to the harbour city in November for reshoots after the Hollywood actors strike finally came to an end.

Sweeney and Powell, 35, have done little to squash bubbling reports they’ve formed a connection off-screen.

While Sweeney has been engaged to partner Jonathan Davino for almost two years, the White Lotus star was called out for not mentioning she was in a relationship during a flirty TV interview with Powell at the weekend.

Today host Hoda Kotb continued to pepper the co-stars with questions about a potential romance, which was met with fits of giggles from both Sweeney and Powell.

“No, but we do love each other,” Powell answered.

“And, honestly, this is one of the most spectacular humans I’ve ever met.”

A fan later asked on social media, “Shouldn’t she just say ‘I’m engaged’ tho?”

Another added, “The way she laughs after she asked if it was a little romance but didn’t deny it or say she’s engaged …”

Photos of Sweeney and Powell filming in Sydney made global headlines in March, and kicked off swirling rumours the duo had struck up a romantic connection.

Fan theories were further fuelled when Powell’s then-girlfriend, model Gigi Paris, unfollowed both the actor and Sweeney on Instagram in April after visiting the set in Australia, before posting cryptically, “Know your worth & onto the next.”

Anyone But You hits cinemas Boxing Day.
