BERLIN: Switzerland coach Murat Yakin said on Friday he was hoping to pull off a surprise in their clash with last-16 rivals Italy at Euro 2024. His team will face the reigning champions in Berlin on Saturday and while Yakin admires Italy’s tactical football, he said his own formation was more important to him. Italy changed their line-up for the 1-1 draw with Croatia that allowed them to advance to the knockout rounds, but while Yakin is not planning any major changes, he wanted to keep his opponents on their toes.
