Recently Yumi Uchiyama and Yusuke Kobayashi, two of the most popular Re:Zero voice actors, announced that they were getting married. The voice actors published the news on their respective X (formerly Twitter) accounts, in which they thanked the fans for their love. The two voice actors asked fans to support them.

Yumi Uchiyama is best known for her roles as Rei Kiriyama (March Comes In Like A Lion), Rudeus Greyrat (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation), and Puck (Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World). Meanwhile, Yusuke Kobayashi is known for the following roles:

Arslan (The heroic legend of Arslan)

It's pretty clear that both voice actors are incredibly talented and fans will be able to hear their voices often as they expand their repertoire.

Obviously their marriage won't affect their performance. They know how to keep their professional and regular lives separate. Re:Zero will have the chance to hear from both characters when the anime returns with a new story arc in February 2025.

Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World is based on the light novel series of the same name. It began serialization as a web novel, but after gaining traction, it was picked up by Media Factory for publication. The first light novel was published in 2014.

Due to its popularity, Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World has received numerous manga adaptations. Together, the light novels and manga have sold more than 13 million copies.

The anime adaptation of Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World was announced in July 2015. The first season of the anime premiered in April 2016.

The second season was split into two courses, with the first airing in July 2020 and the second in January 2021. The third season of Re:Zero was released in October 2024. The anime took a short break after the eighth episode and will now return in February 2025.
