Stoneshard's most powerful one-handed weapons

During your journey through the kingdom of Aldor, you will come across various types of enemies lurking around every corner. Fortunately, Stoneshard has a long list of weapons that you can take with you on your adventure and overcome the opponents you face. These weapons are divided into various categories, from those that you have to carry with both hands to those with which you can hit your enemies from a safe distance.

If you don't want both of your hands occupied with a single weapon and want to pair it with something else, there are many effective one-handed weapons you can acquire in the Ink Stains Games title.

Guard's Greatsword

One of the major misconceptions among Stoneshard players is that one-handed swords aren't worth equipping simply because they don't deal enough damage to be productive in battle, but the guard's greatsword proves this wrong. Sure, the fumble chance that comes with it can be quite daunting, but it packs some of the most powerful slash damage in the game and has stats that can come in handy in various situations.

From significantly dealing critical damage to making your enemies bleed, the Guard's Greatsword has a lot to offer. It's important to note that you can't simply buy it from the merchants there; the sword must be acquired from the boss chest in one of the end-game dungeons.

If you don't want to carry a shield with your sword, try unlocking the Right on Target ability from the Warfare tree; will grant you additional damage bonuses to make the guard's greatsword even more effective.

Knightly axe

Similar to how the knightly variants of two-handed weapons found in Stoneshard are some of the best to wield, the tradition continues in the one-handed weapons space. While axes are already quite strong, the Knightly Ax has incredible armor penetration capabilities and so much more. Also rivaling the game's unique one-handed axes, the Knight's Ax makes perfect use of its critical damage bonus. Not only does it have high damage to body parts on its own, but it comes with a fruitful critical efficiency that serves as a great combo.

The only real downside to using the Knightly Ax is that it requires a few too many skill energy points. But with such a powerful weapon, there's not much else you'll need to completely devour your enemies.

Chivalrous Flail

Maces are some of the most powerful weapons available in Stoneshard, whether you need both hands to wield them or just one. Combined with chivalric attributes, the chivalric flail is a great choice if you want to deal maximum crushing damage and devastate your opponents. Of course, the main tradeoffs that come with the weapon are its relatively lower accuracy and a higher likelihood of fumbling than you'd like. But considering it already has a pretty powerful stun and critical chance, it works wonders when you manage to land a critical hit on your enemies and get that sweet stun bonus.

Combined with high durability, armor penetration, damage to body parts, and even a significant stagger chance as icing on the cake, the knightly flail is a useful one-handed weapon of choice against almost all types of enemies.

Assassin's Dagger

If you're opting for a one-handed weapon in Stoneshard, daggers are some of the most fun choices you can make. They may be much smaller than swords, but they more than make up for it with great stats. There aren't many downsides to using the Assassin's Dagger to make your way through Aldor. In addition to having higher piercing damage than its unique counterparts, it also eliminates the ability to fumble with incredible precision to ensure shots don't miss enemies.

Combine that with critical damage efficiency and the resulting chance, which only increases once critical hits are actually landed, and the Assassin Dagger will get you a long way thanks in part to its relatively high durability.

Try using the Assassin's Dagger without a shield, but make sure to invest in Agility and Elusiveness to avoid any incoming danger.

Radiant Sword

The biggest advantage of choosing a one-handed build in Stoneshard is that you can also carry a shield in your other hand. But in case you are opting for a more offensive approach and decide to abandon the shield, it is important to keep your defense in check as well. Luckily, the exclusive Radiant Sword gives you the best of both worlds. Aside from having high slashing damage, there are various ways it helps you defensively as well, ranging from block and counter chances to power and recovery so you can avoid taking too much damage yourself.

Add in the holy magical attributes that come with it, and you have a powerful weapon that can kill your enemies and restore your own energy simultaneously, making it one of the best one-handed swords in the game.

Baron Axe

Finding a one-handed ax in Stoneshard that is not only strong but doesn't cost too much energy to use can be quite difficult. But the Baron's Ax causes extremely high slashing damage and a much lower cooldown to ensure both conditions are met perfectly. The ax also has the most durability compared to other weapons in its category, so you don't have to worry too much about it failing at any stage of the game.

Since fumbling is also something you want to avoid while fighting enemies, which can leave you open to attacks. The Baron's Ax solves this problem, and combined with its ability to deal damage to both armor and body parts, it has all the makings of a trusty weapon.

Voivod Mace

If you don't want to constantly change your weapons because they break on you, the Voivod Mace has the highest durability in its class to carry you far and wide across the realm of Aldor. This makes it a tough option that can be used against many enemy types regardless of your game level. Its durability blends well with its offensive capabilities, dealing some of the best damage to armor and body parts that one-handed axes can offer.

The only real drawback to the weapon is that you'll need more skill energy points to use it. But with its stun and stagger capabilities in combat, your enemies will still barely have an opening to attack you, making the Voivod Mace an incredible one-handed weapon to wield.

Ceremonial dagger

Daggers in Stoneshard mostly only have piercing damage, but the Ceremonial Dagger stands out in its category because it can also deal holy magic damage, making it a fun weapon to wield in various scenarios. It also has the highest bleed chance that can be inflicted by a dagger, and coupled with its accurate armor penetration and body part damage capabilities, the Ceremonial Dagger proves that its usefulness in combat is as great as its artistic aesthetics.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, the Ceremonial Dagger also has a little miraculous chance, which works quite effectively alongside its magical and critical damage attributes, making it one of the most diverse and productive weapons to have with you.
