The exclusive blockbuster PlayStation 5 console Star Blade is going through the mobile game Goddess of Victory: Nikke in the near future, although there is currently no official release date for the collaboration yet. It's currently unclear what the collaboration might look like, but it seems likely that it will be a limited-time event Goddess of Victory: Nikke bringing the main character from Star Blade into the fold as a playable character.
Star Blade made waves this year as one of the best console-exclusive titles for the PS5, doing big numbers in terms of sales and even receiving a nod at The Game Awards in two separate categories for its action gameplay and music. Due to its popularity and the fact that both games are made by developer Shift Up, it may not be a surprise to fans to see the Star Blade the heroine appears in the mobile title.

A recent announcement about the future of Shift Up's Stellar Blade has secured its place in fans' minds as 2024 gradually draws to a close.
Goddess of Victory: Nikke recently announced the collaboration via a short trailer in which Eve from Star Blade crashes into the game world, confirming his imminent arrival. The announcement makes no mention of a specific release date, simply stating that it's coming soon, with the developer reportedly still working on how to properly integrate the event into the game.

Of course, this isn't the first major crossover Star Blade has been participating since its launch, as Nier: Automata the protagonist 2B appeared in Star Blade as a paid DLC pack, adding more themed cosmetics. Nier: Automata appeared in Goddess of Victory: Nikke even in the past, as 2B and A2 became unlockable characters in a previous event.
The main heroine of Star Blade also made an appearance in Astrobots as part of a free update that added several new characters for players to save in its new levels, which are heavily geared towards speedrunning. All in all, the game has been making the rounds in terms of appeal this year, with its main character already appearing in several external media outlets as fans await news on a potential sequel.
Fans you can also enjoy some new cosmetic items from a recent free update for Star Blade which added Christmas-themed costumes and items for the season. The game is also reportedly coming to PC in the future, so those who don't have a PS5 or are waiting to play it may have a chance to try it out soon.
