Starfield Creations gets major improvements

Star field developer Bethesda has confirmed that the latest update adds support for Achievement-compatible creations, meaning that any creation released through the Verified Creators program will have the option to make the mod Achievement-compatible. While Star fieldThe Creations program has been very popular among the community since its release earlier this year, players have been disappointed that downloading and playing any mod through the game's Creations program would disable the achievements.

Thanks to the last one Star field update, locked achievements are officially a thing of the past. In addition to this highly requested feature, the November 19th update brought several quality of life improvements, while also adding another land vehicle and a set of free missions for players to complete. The latest update was also celebrated Star field according to Bethesda, it has reached over 15 million players since its launch in 2023. The studio said it is “thrilled” to have so many players embark on this journey and is always looking for ways to improve the player experience in Star field.

Starfield adds easy-to-achieve creations

As well as some much-needed quality of life improvements and the return of unlimited frame rates for Star field on Xbox Series X, Bethesda also confirmed that creators now have the ability to make their own content Star field easy to get mods. In a new post on Bethesda's website, the studio said that, as of the November update, Star field Creations released through the Verified Creators program will have the ability to be compatible with achievements, i.e. (if enabled by the creator) mods downloaded through Star field Creations will no longer prevent the player from obtaining achievements. Unfortunately, Bethesda has stated that achievements will not retroactively unlock on saves from previous games with Creations, even though those creations have now been made compatible with achievements by the mod's creator.


In June, Bethesda released the highly anticipated Creations program for Star field. Even though it wasn't available at launch, fans were patiently awaiting its arrival following the studio's previous titles, such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim AND Fallout 4both received the same Creations program. Unfortunately, its final release earlier this year wasn't well received by fans, many of whom were upset Star field's Creations because it's too expensive. Even months later, players still believe that many of Bethesda's official creations are priced too high, with some short missions costing around $7, while other missions are even charged per mission.

Star fieldThe Creation store, however, offers both free and paid mods, so not all players have to part with their cash to get in on the action. And with mods that facilitate achievements now open to all creators, fans will likely be more inclined to check out some of the awesome creations featured on the store. On Reddit, fans are already praising Bethesda for the latest update, with one user calling it a “fantastic update” and another saying that the lack of achievement-friendly mods previously prevented them from trying out specific creations.
