EA has unveiled the updated features of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on PlayStation 5 Pro. The improvements made to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor they include a mix of different visual updates that take advantage of the new console's powerful hardware.
Details of the game's new features on PS5 Pro were revealed by publisher EA on November 7, the same day as the launch of the new mid-generation PlayStation console. Featuring a number of upgrades over the standard PlayStation 5 console released in 2020, including better memory, rendering, and storage, the PlayStation 5 Pro should offer better performance for any PS5 game when played on the new console. However, several developers have updated their games to take advantage of the new hardware, and the list of games enhanced for the PS5 Pro at the time of the console's launch numbers more than 50, including Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

While the announcement on EA's official website doesn't include any surprise updates for the PS5 Pro aside from visual and performance improvements, EA uses it to break down the beefed-up update for the PS5 Pro Star Wars Jedi: Survivor two-part updates that both handle significantly higher base resolutions in both Performance and Quality modes. During the race Star Wars Jedi: Survivor In Quality mode, the PS5 Pro version upscales graphics from 1800p to 2160p while maintaining 4K resolution and raytracing elements. When you switch to Performance mode, the new console increases the game's resolution from 1200p to 1800p, while still providing more vibrant and detailed visuals, and that mode also uses raytraced occlusion and reflections while maintaining a frame rate of 60 fps.
Improvements for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PS5 Pro
Originally released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in April 2023, the action-adventure game set in Star Wars Universe was ported to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One less than two months ago. Developer Respawn Entertainment is still working to release patches for the game, with a Star Wars Jedi: Survivor October update aimed specifically at gameplay improvements on current-gen console versions. While neither Respawn nor EA have said so, some fans have expressed the belief that the October patch will give the last-gen version of the game at least one more potential future release on the possible Nintendo Switch successor.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is not the only game from its fictional galaxy that has received an improved version for PS5 Pro. A more recent release Star Wars game, that of Ubisoft Star Wars Outlawsis also on that list, though that game's news page contains no details on what specific improvements the PlayStation 5 Pro makes to that game.
