An official player survey for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero held by Bandai Namco could provide some inside information on future updates or DLC coming to the anime-themed fighting game. Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero has seen a lot of players since its October debut, and its publisher seems to be trying to focus on what will catch the attention of its fans.
Developed by Spike Chunsoft, the game carries on the legacy of the popular Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series, which saw its last numbered game released in 2007. However Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero saw huge drops in player numbers a month after its release, its first 24 hours on the market saw 3 million players pick it up, and additional content could be a way to attract those players again.

After the successful launch of Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, the fighting game's publisher is threatening to ban some players.
The survey published by Bandai Namco asks players a series of questions about the game, such as which platform they play it on, which version they purchased, how many hours they have spent playing it and which modes they prefer. After eliminating preliminary demographic questions, a survey question asks respondents what types of additional game content they would like to see in the game. Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero. One of the options fans of the game can choose from involves a season pass. This is one of the pieces of content that Bandai Namco has already announced is coming, as it comes automatically with the Deluxe and Ultimate editions of the game and can be purchased separately for $34.99. A Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero The DLC release schedule for 2025 lists two upcoming content updates in the first quarter of the year and a third in the second quarter. Each of these upcoming DLC packs will include additions to the character roster, with the first one adding more than 20 characters from Dragon Ball Super: superhero movie. The following two packs will include an unspecified number of new characters Dragon Ball Daima anime series, which debuted on October 11 and features many of the franchise's famous heroes transformed into children.
