Sega is developing a new “Super Game,” possibly separate from the previous five announced IPs.
-
Job listings indicate that the new game will be large-scale, open-world, and massively multiplayer.

The new project could be a game that uses existing IPs like Shinobi, Streets of Rage or Golden Axe, but that's unlikely.
At last year's Game Awards, Sega announced plans to revive five of its dormant IPs: Jet Set Radio, Crazy Taxi, Shinobi, Streets of Rage and Golden Axe. While news on these games has been relatively quiet since then, Sega confirmed that Crazy Taxi, at least, would be a massively multiplayer online title.

Over the past few days, however, new job listings have appeared on Sega's Japanese careers forum, suggesting that a brand new “major online title” is in the works, separate from those previously announced.
New massively multiplayer “Super Game” in development by Sega
A handful of ads have appeared on Sega's site, with urgent requests for a lead systems and user interface designer, an animated and cut scene producer, and a lead game designer for the gaming community/camp on what is described as a “Super Game” in the ad listing.
These lists all share a similar set of specifications. Successful candidates begin work on a “large-scale, open-world, massively multiplayer game”, with one of the roles requiring specific experience in “producing MMO and open-world titles” and “producing battle battles” multiplayer action”. The game aims to be a “global success, primarily in the North American market”.
The lists read:
We are looking for a lead game designer to be a core member to launch a major new online title (large-scale project, open world, massively multiplayer game).
While some terms match those used in Crazy Taxi's active work listings, Sega refers to Crazy Taxi by name and calls it a “massively multiplayer driving game”. Instead, this is billed as “a major new online title” and simply a “massively multiplayer game.” Both games, Crazy Taxi and whatever this “Super Game” may be, also have separate listings for a UI/systems designer, again indicating that they may be separate projects.
Since Jet Set Radio also has its own specified listings, this advertisement could be referring to the Shinobi, Streets of Rage, or Golden Ax games that Sega has in the works. However, none of these games are particularly suited to online and massively multiplayer gameplay, so it's likely that this is a project using one of Sega's best-suited existing IPs, or something brand new.

The legendary Crazy Taxi first released in arcades in 1999 and quickly became one of the Dreamcast's best-selling titles. Your job, as a stunt-loving taxi driver, is to ensure that your fares reach their destination within the time limit.
