Sakamoto Taro was a hitman who completed the most dangerous missions with ease. Over time his name became famous throughout the underground world, so much so that he was considered a legend. Sakamoto would have continued his work as a hitman if it hadn't been for his fateful encounter with Aoi. Sakamoto immediately fell in love with her and decided to quit his job to settle down with Aoi. The two married and had a daughter. Sakamoto quit his job and began running a convenience store with his wife.

However, there were many people who did not like Sakamoto's decision and agreed to punish him. They came up with a plan to send Shin Asakura to Sakamoto's shop. Shin was his partner, so he wanted to see why Sakamoto chose to go down a different path.

After meeting Sakamoto, Shin reported to his boss, who ordered him to exterminate the former assassin. Shin reluctantly agreed and returned to the shop. He used his clairvoyant ability to find an opening, but his opponent was far superior. Shin fought to regain his footing but was completely outclassed. Sakamoto didn't even use a weapon. All he needed were chopsticks, a rubber band and some marbles. After being beaten, Shin realized that Sakamoto was living a great life. He then returned to the chief and offered his life in exchange.

Sakamoto Taro comes to Shin's rescue

The chief accepted his offer, but Shin's skill helped him discover that it was all a lie. So, he decided to take revenge against them. They outnumbered Shin and things looked bleak for him. Luckily, Sakamoto was aware of the situation because he had intercepted Shin's gun.

The introduction of Sakamoto Taro changed everything and literally punched everyone's socks off. He saved Shin and freed him. After the fight, Sakamoto offers Shin a job at the convenience store, which he accepts.
