Russian missiles kill 37 in Ukraine, gut Kyiv children’s hospital

Kiev: Russia attacked cities in Ukraine on Monday with a barrage of rockets that killed more than three dozen people and tore apart a children’s hospital in Kiev in an attack condemned as a ruthless attack on civilians. Dozens of volunteers, including hospital staff and rescue workers, dug through the rubble of the Okhmatdyt pediatric hospital in a desperate search for survivors after a rare daytime bombing, AFP journalists saw on the ground.
