JERUSALEM: Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said Saturday that Iran’s message of a “war of destruction” makes it worthy of destruction. “A regime that threatens destruction deserves to be destroyed,” Katz said in a post on X. He also said Israel would take full action against Iran-backed Hezbollah if it did not stop shelling Israel from Lebanon and move away from the border. Iran’s mission to the United Nations said Friday that if Israel launched a “full-scale military aggression” in Lebanon, “a war of destruction would ensue.”
