PlayStation Plus subscribers will lose access to an additional eight games in February 2025. While the PlayStation Plus Essential tier only allows subscribers to add three different games to their library each month, the Extra and Premium tiers of the service give users access to a Huge catalog of games with lots to choose from. Unfortunately, even though new games are added to the catalog regularly, many others are removed.

For PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 owners, PS Plus has become an essential part of the console requirements. Not only does it allow users to play multiplayer games like call of Duty online, but the Extra and Premium levels of the service give subscribers access to a whole host of different games at no additional cost. But, just like Xbox Game Pass, games are regularly removed from the service to make way for new additions. Some of the latest games removed from PS Plus in January were Just Cause 3, Just Cause 4, Life is Strange, Resident Evil 2, and many others. While these titles aren't considered the best games on PS Plus, the removal of The external worlds AND Tales of Getting Up it will be a big loss for season ticket holders. Thankfully, there are still a few weeks to play before it, along with the other aforementioned titles, are removed.
