The PlayStation Free Weekend will allow players to enjoy the console family's online multiplayer offerings as long as users have a working internet connection and a PSN account.

For those who enjoy the online competition and multiplayer features of PS Plus, there's also the opportunity to potentially win a 30-month membership to PS Plus for free. PlayStation will award the prize to 30 people in each participating country, for a total of 780 winners. To participate, all fans need to do is sign up for a PlayStation Plus Premium subscription and play any game from the Classics catalog. Existing members can also participate by simply playing a game from the Classics Catalog. The prize competition will take place from 10 to 23 December.
