Oda confirms great power for the Seraphim

By Eiichiro Oda One piece has been on hiatus for 2 weeks now, and while fans have found it difficult to go a week without a One piece chapter, they were not entirely left to starve. Oda revealed a lot of interesting details in his Q&A session, and more importantly, fans also got an SBS, with the release of volume 110.

If that wasn't enough, fans also revealed a new pack of Vivre Cards, which gave them a lot of information about the new characters in the story. Most recently, Oda revealed an important detail about the Seraphim that, although some fans predicted, others are quite surprised to know. This adds another level of depth to the Seraphim and simply proves that they are truly the strongest form of humanity.

The Seraphim were first mentioned in chapter 956 of One piece. It was then that the Shichibukai system was abolished, and at the same time, Fujitora had asked Akainu to place his trust in the SSG. At the time, it was made clear that the SSG was a new unit developed by Vegapunk that the government was investing in. These were supposed to be replacements for the Warlords, and it's safe to say they definitely got some hype. It wasn't until after the events of the Wano Country Arc that fans got their first look at the Seraphim. This occurred on Amazon Lily, where the Navy attempted to capture Boa Hancock. With Koby leading the charge, along with other vice admirals, the Marines also made use of two Seraphim.

They are…the strongest form of humanity!! –Vegapunk

These were two of the strongest, in the form of S-Hawk, who is the Seraph of Dracule Mihawk, and of course, S-Snake, who is the Seraph of Boa Hancock herself. Here, fans got to see the Seraphim in action for the first time, and it's safe to say they blew everyone away. Both of these Seraphim looked just like their parents' bodies. In fact, they even possessed similar abilities. S-Snake held the power of the Mero Mero no Mi despite not having the Devil Fruit, and S-Hawk had sporting abilities great enough to cut giant mountains in half, just like Mihawk.

At the same time, fans also got to see them have Lunarian characteristics. This meant they had brown skin, white hair, wings on their backs, and a giant flame. They were incredibly difficult to harm, as is the case with the Lunarians when the flame burns on their backs, and overall, one could say how these individuals were meant to replace these Seven Warlords of the Sea. It's safe to say that Vegapunk has outdone themselves with this invention and that they will shape humanity in the future, one way or another.

Oda confirms that the Seraphim will have one-piece Haki

All Seraphim have the Haki of Armament and Observation

Fans knew that the Seraphim would always be incredibly powerful. In fact, Oda even confirmed that these monstrously powerful individuals held the great powers of the Devil Fruit. Making use of Green Blood, they have manifested incredible abilities, whether those of their parent body, or those of someone else, as in the case of S-Hawk, who has the power of the Supa Supa no Mi, which is wielded by Mr. One. Fans knew that they had the awesome Devil Fruit powers, along with Lunarian abilities, however, what fans didn't know is that Seraphim also have Haki. It has now been confirmed in the Vivre Cards that Seraphim have two forms of Haki. All the Seraphim that fans have seen in One Piece have at least Armament and Observation Haki.

This confirms that they also have, in a sense, spiritual powers since Haki comes from the spirit. If they have their own spirit, this means that Vegapunk essentially created humanity from scratch and that they can truly become the strongest in the future. Interestingly, the power of Conqueror's Haki has not yet been confirmed for the Seraphim, but, in the future, this power may awaken in a select few of these Seraphim.

For example, fans know that Boa Hancock is a user of Conqueror's Haki, as is Donquixote Doflamingo. These two individuals will definitely obtain Conqueror's Haki in the future, which simply proves that they can rival the strongest individuals in the world of One Piece and may even continue to surpass them, as they possess additional abilities. that their parent bodies do not. It will be incredibly exciting to follow their growth over the years as they get stronger. Mainly because an individual's haki gets stronger as they get stronger. It has now been confirmed that the Seraphim have incredible potential and fans can't wait to see what they have to offer next.

Will the Seraphim have Conqueror's Haki?

Some Seraphim may gain Conqueror's Haki

As already confirmed, Seraphim now also have Haki. Most likely their Haki level is already very good. This shouldn't be a surprise to fans, as they are strong enough to take on the likes of Luffy, Zoro, Lucci, and Blackbeard, among others, who use Haki in battle. Furthermore, they can also sense things, as mentioned in the Egghead Island Arc. This implies that their Observation and Weaponry Haki skills are great enough to be taken seriously by even the highest levels of the One Piece world.

That being said, none of them have displayed Conqueror's Haki or had it confirmed. But this does not mean that none of them will acquire this ability. As discussed above, there are some Seraphim who will gain this power, as it makes no sense for them not to have it if their parental bodies have it. S-Hawk is another contender for Conqueror's Haki. He and the others will surely achieve it too, and with all these powers at their disposal, it will be no surprise to see a select few Seraphim reach the top and be rivals even to the likes of Yonko in One piece.

In truth, Vegapunk wasn't kidding when he suggested that the Seraphim will become the strongest form of humanity, surpassing everyone in the world and only be rivaled by a select few. So far, fans have only seen glimpses of these Seraphim, but they will become even more relevant in the future as they develop their own personalities and potentially even go so far as to betray the World Government.
