While no games have been officially confirmed for the Nintendo Switch successor, two rumored launch titles could pack a powerful one-two punch.
One such company is Genki, which, according to a report from German-language website Netzwelt, revealed a physical replica of the Switch 2 behind closed doors at CES 2025. The replica, which Genki says is the “exact” size of the Switch 2 hardware, was available for participants to hold and touch. If accurate, the replica could be the most substantial representation yet of the final Switch 2 hardware, and potentially confirm other Switch 2 design leaks from previous weeks.

Photos shared by Netzwelt reveal a supposed Switch 2 design that appears significantly larger than the current Nintendo Switch, with a larger screen comparable to that of the Lenovo Legion Go, a portable PC-based gaming device. The Joy-Cons appear to be designed to be detached by pulling them to the side, rather than sliding them upwards, potentially confirming rumors that the Switch 2 controllers will feature a magnetic attachment. However, the same report also speculates that a mechanical locking system may still be installed to prevent the Joy-Cons from unintentionally detaching. The right Joy-Con also features an additional button, which was unlabeled on the replica.
The report goes on to detail Genki's intention behind creating the physical replica of the Switch 2. Instead of showing it off publicly ahead of an official reveal from Nintendo, Genki created the Switch 2 replica to show potential customers the cases and accessories Switch 2 accessories planned by Genki.
