While Nidoqueen and Nidoking form one of the most iconic Kantonian couples, Nidoqueen holds her own with an impressive collection of Pokemon TCG cards. While many sets contain counterpart cards for Nidoqueen, some of its best iterations focus on this Pokemon's strength and power.

Pikachu is back with a strong cast of rare rare illustrations.
Some of Nidoqueen's most valuable cards feature multiple variations of the same art, so those cards will only receive one entry highlighting the most expensive variation. For example, Jungle has both a Rare card and a Holo Rare Nidoqueen, but only the more expensive version, the Holo Rare, will be featured on this list, leaving room for other artwork to shine.
Cards are sorted by their TCGPlayer Market price, that you might pay on average for a copy of the (first edition, where applicable) cards below.
Given the age and rarity of these cards, only those with a market price established on TCGplayer are included.
However, sales prices vary depending on the conditions of the card, so this market price is only a rough idea of the value of the card.

Giovanni's Nidoqueen: Gym Challenge First Edition (rare) – $14.75
A powerful partnership
Giovanni's Nidoqueen from Gym Challenge kicks things off with the most valuable Nidoqueen cards despite not being among the most expensive Gym Challenge cards. The background leaves plenty of room for a bright landscape behind Nidoqueen, giving this card a touching “slice of life” feel.
Played lightly (LP) copies of this Nidoqueen are around 11 dollars, while the best ones are almost mint (NM) cards can typically reach heights of $16.50 and above. Non-Holo rares aren't generally in demand, but Nidoqueen's art is too good to pass up.

Nidoqueen: Core Set 2 (Holo Rare) – $17.79
One of the OGs
While Base Set 2 rarely stands out as special when considering the existence of the Shadowless and Unlimited runs, this Nidoqueen card earns a prominent place among the best cards in the set.
This reprinted art was originally featured in Jungle and returned in Core Set 2 as one of the best starter cards in the Pokemon TCG.
LP cards are sold more often, with sales ranging from $11 to $16, but played moderately (MP) cards can offer even deeper discounts, with some selling for less than eight dollars. However, on the other end of the spectrum, finding a NM copying is difficult, and this it will cost you at least $17 in most cases.
Part of the team
Nidoqueen's foray into the world of promotions offers a solid card to appreciate. While it certainly won't be among the most expensive of the Sun and Moon era, this Nidoqueen promo arouses considerable interest as part of the Staff Prerelease preceding the release of Team Up, one of the most iconic sets ever.

Unfortunately, there isn't much data to analyze on TCGplayer, with only a small handful of sales to point to, though they include two NM copies of this card selling for over $26. LP copies will offer a hefty discount, approaching $16 if you are not interested in collecting a perfect copy.

Nidoqueen: Jungle First Edition (Holo Rare) – $78.84
The difference a stamp makes
First edition cards will always have a premium on their Unlimited versions, like with this Nidoqueen from Jungle. As the Jungle expansion represents one of the best vintage sets of all time, it's hard to find a better illustration with a better pedigree than this first edition favorite.
HP copies of this first edition Nidoqueen start at around $19, followed by MP copies, which go up to $31 (though mislabeled cards on TCGplayer are common). LP cards cost a few dollars more, approaching $35, while NM variants run up to the $78 to $100 range, cementing the value of this card on the back of its NM price.

Nidoqueen: Skyridge (Holo Rare) – $102.60
A queen rises again
Skyridge's Nidoqueen stands out from its peers thanks in large part to the rarity and desirability of the set it comes from. The unusual perspective, beautiful composition, and excellent use of shadow with Nidoqueen as the main focus give this card a charm that few others have had so far.
However, aside from its appearance, this card is rather difficult to evaluate, as it boasts only one recent sale MP conditions at market price. However, this leaves a huge gap between the MP price and the maximum value of this card, as an NM sale could push it much higher. With a handful of listings ranging from $100 to $350, time will tell where the price of this card will settle.
