My Hero Academia final season teaser revealed

A new teaser released this Saturday on TOHO Animation's YouTube channel, following the final episode of season seven, revealed that the eighth and final season of My academic world of heroes will be broadcast in 2025. The teaser comes out after an official statement confirmed the eighth season of the series, as well as the staff who will work on its production.




A brand new key visual was also revealed, depicting series protagonist Izuku “Deku” Midoriya in a battered state with his costume in tatters from taking on the climactic battle against Tomura Shigaraki. The next eighth season will complete the adaptation of the final arc of Kōhei Horikoshi's manga, which ended in August after a 10-year serialization. The short teaser can be seen below.

Along with the 2025 air date, the teaser also revealed some of the staff behind the production of the final season of My academic world of heroesincluding Kenji Nagasaki, who has served as director of the series since season 1 and served as lead director from season 4 onward; director Naomi Nakayama; with series composition by Yōsuke Kuroda; character designs by Yoshihiko Umakoshi and Hitomi Odashima; musical composition by Yuki Hayashi and, of course, animation production by Studio Bones.

The cast includes Daiki Yamashita as Deku, Kenta Miyake as All Might, Kōki Uchiyama as Tomura Shigaraki, Akio Otsuka and Hiroshi Kamiya as All For One, Ayane Sakura as Ochaco Uraraka, Kaito Ishikawa as Tenya Iida, and Yuki Kaji as Todoroki Shōto. At the time of writing, no exact premiere date has been revealed. The final season of the series is scheduled to air in 2025 My academic world of heroes it means that the anime will end within a year of the end of the manga.

The anime, produced by Studio Bones, aired in April 2016, and since then a new season of the series has been released every year. The franchise has given rise to numerous films, the most recent of which, entitled: My Hero Academia: you're next, was released in Japanese theaters in August and is currently in international running. The upcoming eighth and final season of My academic world of heroes will air in 2025, concluding the climactic battle between holders All For One and One For All.
