NetherRealm just showed off more Ghostface gameplay before the assassin's Mortal Combat 1 debuts next week, including a brand new Fatality, and check out their Animality. Mortal combat has seen appearances from numerous iconic horror movie villains and CryThe infamous killer Ghostface will be the first guest DLC fighter Mortal Combat 1Kombat Pack 2. Moviegoers were first introduced to Ghostface in 1996, and the masked Woodsboro slasher has since become a staple of the Halloween season.
The developers at NetherRelam have certainly done their homework when it comes to bringing big screen killers like Ghostface into the world of Mortal combatas shown in the several gameplay trailers released during the preparation of Ghostface added on November 19th. Ghostface isn't particularly flashy in the movies, and their Mortal Combat 1 moveset seems focused on brutally stabbing and slashing the opponent with his famous knife. Many of Ghostface's moves and introductions feature multiple assassins, a nod to the fact that there is always more than one person behind the mask. Cry movie.

This newly revealed Ghostface Fatality is the second to be revealed before Mortal Combat 1 The DLC release, but it fits perfectly Cryis a meta-commentary on the horror film genre where the real victim is someone playing a video game and quickly finds themselves in the same situation as their on-screen character. Likewise, the first Ghostface Fatality paid homage to some of the Cry the franchise's most famous kills, particularly the scene from the first film where Ghostface is reflected in the eyes of Henry Winkler's doomed Himbry.
Fatalities aren't the only finishing moves in Ghostface Mortal Combat 1 arsenal, as the latest trailer ends with a quick look at the Killer's Animality. Khaos Reigns saw the return of these animal-based finishing moves, with Ghostface transforming into a buzzard and gruesomely locating Geras' internal organs. Players won't have to wait much longer to see how the rest of this grizzly scene plays out, as Ghostface releases on November 19th.
