Modern Warfare 3 Among Eight Call Of Duty Games On Sale At Battle.net

The end of the year, and the beginning of the next, is pretty much the only time when studios stop releasing video games. The best time of year to catch up on anything you’ve missed from the past 12 months, or games you’ve been meaning to get to for years. Especially when a lot of those games are available for less. Head to Blizzard’s Battle.net right now and you’ll find all the video game deals you need to tide you over until new games start releasing again in a few weeks.

The headliner in Battle.net’s holiday sale is Modern Warfare 3. Released at the end of October, the new $70 Call of Duty is available for less through the link below from now until January 1, 2024. The game’s standard edition is 30 percent off, bringing the price down to less than $50, or you can pick up the Vault Edition with all of its added extras for $79.99, usually priced at $99.99. There are eight CoD games in the Battle.net sale, including the original Modern Warfare 2.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is the 2023 remake of the 2011 classic first-person shooter, and rounds out the trilogy of updated games from Sledgehammer and Activision. It will directly follow Modern Warfare 2 in terms of plot, once again following the Price, Soap, and other members of Task Force 141.

Not a Call of Duty fan? Not a problem. Blizzard has a number of other games and bundles on sale right now, all of which will remain reduced in price until New Year’s Day. Diablo 4, a fantastic game I know many people passed over in favor of playing other stuff this year, is also on sale. You can pick up the standard edition of the newest Diablo game for just $42, 40 percent less than usual. The Ultimate and Digital Deluxe Editions are also 40 percent off, bringing their prices down to $60 and $54, respectively.

An action RPG from Blizzard, Diablo 4 follows on from Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls, taking place 30 years later. Lilith has returned, and as a Nephalem, you must prevent further destruction.

A number of add-ons and bundles for Diablo 3 are also on sale. Grab the Reaper of Souls for half price, a battle chest for less than $20, or the Rise of the Necromancer for just $9.99. There are plenty of deals for Overwatch 2 players to take advantage of too. Even though it’s free-to-play, there’s plenty you have to pay for in the sequel if you want to, and right now you can get some of it for less. Both the Invasion Bundle and Complete Hero Collection are $10 each, the latter of which gets you access to every hero from both games.

Battle.net isn’t the only place you can get games for less this holiday season. The Epic Games Store also has a lot of great deals. Alan Wake 2 is on sale and comes with the remastered version of the first game for free, and you can pick up the core four Kingdom Hearts games for a little more than $60 when your Epic coupon is applied.
