Rivals of wonder it can essentially be Surveillance with a thick coat of Marvel paint, but it's hard to deny how special and considered the implementation of each character thus far is. Rivals of wonder could have skimmed each character for whatever superficial, sensational skill they predominantly wield, yet he's shown to value the minute details and incorporate them into each respective character's playstyle regardless of how suboptimal it would seem in the realm of a 6v6 hero shooter (as the sense of Spider-Man or crawling on walls).
This would suggest that all future Marvel characters have been added Rivals of wonderThe roster will receive the same treatment and be accurate in their portrayal, which may be more difficult to actually execute for some characters more than others. For example, Cyclops is a fairly static character on paper and, although he has not yet been officially announced, it may be difficult to adapt him. Rivals of wonder' landscape. That said, the same could have been said of the characters on the roster such as Hulk, Groot or Rocket Raccoon, e.g Rivals of wonderthe attention to detail continues to prove that Cyclops could be a welcome addition in the future.

Marvel rivals can't leave a character off their roster for long
Marvel Rivals is scheduled to launch in December, and while several heroes will be joining the roster, one character has yet to be announced.
Why Cyclops will join Marvel Rivals should be a no-brainer
Cyclops' psionic optic blasts are tremendously powerful, to be clear, but overall these red visor beams are probably not as fun to look at as Spider-Man's web-slinging, Iron Man's repulsor blast, or even the Captain America's shield rebound.
However, in a 6v6 hero shooter like Rivals of wonder which largely revolves around skill-based action and long-range projectiles, Cyclops could actually be a key figure. Cyclops could presumably keep opponents at bay with large optic blasts, perhaps with different modulations such as rapid bursts fired as a primary attack or a massive beam ability with lots of recovery frames.
Mobility is also a pillar Rivals of wonder', and it would be interesting to see if Cyclops' optical blasts could be used to enable mid-air maneuverability. Rivals of wonder'hero shooter includes a lot for each character, but their movesets aren't as varied or expansive as a regular action game, which is why Cyclops could be superb with only a handful of attacks and abilities he'd need in the his arsenal.
Plus, this is one of the main reasons why Cyclops is great in simpler fighting games like Marvel Last Alliance series or Legends of the X-Men as it doesn't need to stretch itself too thin to accommodate the demands of a larger suite of mechanics that wouldn't adequately represent the character. Rivals of wonderThe current choices for X-Men characters in the default roster are surprisingly diverse, however, and so it may be a while before I join Cyclops in a long list of possible additions.
The Cyclops adaptation wouldn't need to look much further than Marvel Rivals' Captain America
Captain America's Freedom Charge Ultimate could be some sort of inspiration for Cyclops as Scott Summers is the leader of his team and one would expect him to have some sort of support ability as well. Freedom Charge grants Captain America and his teammates “continuing health and movement bonuses” on the path he takes, and it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility for Cyclops to imbue himself and his allies with a similar buff in some way.
Drawing on support tactics, Cyclops could easily charge in like Captain America and rally his teammates while having more projectile-oriented versatility than Steve Rogers, whose shield throwing is intrinsically tied to a specific ability and body shots consecutive melees. In any case, while Cyclops might not be a particularly phenomenal character when paired with someone like Magik, Stormstorm or Scarlet Witch, it seems like it will only be a matter of time before Scott, who has only recently gained praise and popularity via X-Men '97– receives a worthy adaptation.
