LEGO is recalling some Nintendo sets

LEGO fans and Nintendo will want to know that some of the sets the two companies collaborated on will be discontinued. As a result, some sets are being sold at a discount, and discontinuations of Nintendo LEGO sets are impacting both the US and the UK.

Over the years, there have been numerous collaborations between LEGO and Nintendo properties. Mario games have been celebrated more with LEGO sets, but other Nintendo properties love it Zelda AND Animal crossing they also received theirs.

Nintendo players who love LEGO should consider purchasing some sets soon, as many will be discontinued. In the United States, the Peach's Castle Expansion Set and the Backyard Hot Air Balloon Ride Expansion Set, the Nabbit at Toad's Shop Expansion Set, the Dixie Kong Jungle Jam Expansion Set, and the Diddy Kong's Mine Cart Rides will all be discontinued. Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong and Peach's sets are available at a 20% discount, while Nabbit at Toad's Shop is still at its regular price. In the UK, the number of discontinued sets is much larger, including the Nintendo Entertainment System, Peach's Garden Hot Air Balloon Ride, Yoshi's Egg Forest Expansion Set, and more.

While some fans are no doubt upset to see some of these sets discontinued, the partnership between Nintendo and LEGO is far from over. Mario Kart AND Animal crossing they're both getting new LEGO sets that will start releasing in 2025. Mario Kart will see six LEGO sets all launching on January 1, while Animal crossing I'll get three. It's not the only collaboration Nintendo will take part in either Lego Horizon Adventures will launch on Nintendo Switch in November. It is an unusual choice, like all the previous ones Horizon the games were exclusive to the PC and PlayStation platforms.

With new LEGO collections being released all the time, there is a constant process of culling older sets and introducing new ones. Fans who haven't picked up Nintendo sets that are about to be discontinued should consider picking them up before it's too late. At that point, your only option will likely be to purchase them from retailers, who tend to jack up prices knowing that the supply available for sale is limited.
