For those who have not gone further Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Anime, Steel Ball Run begins the alternate universe of Jojo'staking the characters from the original series and transforming them into something completely new. Part 7 follows Johnny Joestar, a paraplegic and horse racing prodigy who participates in the Steel Ball Run, a race to run across the United States of America and discover a way to fix his legs.
Here he meets Gyro Zeppali, an interesting character who holds the secret of the Spin, a technique that could help Johnny complete his goal. As the race progresses, the two discover the true plot of the film Steel ball racing universe and ultimately help save the world from the evil plan of a charismatic villain.
