“We hope to capture the same ephemeral combination of sights and sounds that made the original game so intoxicating, meaning a completely new aesthetic, tailor-made for the 3D open world. I would describe the approach as more “electronic maximalist.”

While playing in the open world: awe and wonder. This is a game that surprises even the team with its perspectives due to procedural generation. During small encounters and in the hub area of the game, we wanted to dig deep into the culture of Hyperlight world. What tools did they create with the technology they had? Which voices from the past would still resonate in the present?
