There are many possibilities as to what caused this, one large possibility being due to Halkenburg's actions. Halkenburg is currently in Might's body. Collapse Lucifer will be an important character in this story arc of the War of Succession HxH. He was seen a few chapters ago, revealing his plans to the readers. Chrollo is on the hunt for Kakin's national treasures. If he manages to steal them, he will be able to evolve his Skill Hunter skill. If he evolves Skill Hunter, he can steal a powerful and rare ability, which he will use to kill Hisoka once and for all.
