How To Unlock The Shotgun Early In Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora

Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora is an eagerly awaited open-world action adventure game that is based on the Avatar series, and now it’s available. The game stands out for its impressive visuals and incorporates typical open-world features from exploring different locations, crafting your gear, and battling your way through the storyline.

As you advance, facing the RDA becomes a challenge, and depending solely on your bow may not suffice early in the game. Fortunately, there’s a way to acquire a shotgun early on. This will help you significantly expedite your ability to deal with RDA enemies early in the game.

How To Get The Shotgun Early In The Game

Once you’ve navigated through the tutorial area and entered the open world of Pandora, your journey will lead you to the Resistance Headquarters camp. Along the way, you might have noticed a locked yellow box that can’t open.

That’s the box holding our first shotgun, but before that, we need to acquire special equipment for it.

When you arrive at the Resistance Headquarters, as part of the main story, you’ll meet Alexandar Tremayne. He’ll give you the SID hacking gun.

After a quick tutorial on how to use the gun, you’ll have it permanently.

The SID gun lets you hack RDA security, including unlocking those yellow supply boxes.

With the SID in hand, go back to the Fueling Station southeast of the Resistance Headquarters. Look for a yellow chest near an abandoned truck, or use your Na’vi senses to highlight it.

Stand in front of the chest, use your SID hacking gun, and interact with it. This will bring up a menu with a hacking puzzle to solve.

Upon completion, the supply box will unlock, granting you your very first shotgun in the game.

The shotgun proves to be a powerful close-range weapon against RDA enemies, especially the AMP ones.
