Glarb, the Augur of Calamity is a very versatile commander in the Commander format of Magic: the Gathering. There are several ways to play Glarb, including spells with high mana values, as a Frog commander, or as someone who takes care of the lands. The bridge commander, Glarb, harbinger of calamity it is one of the most important pieces of the deck. THE the ability to play lands from the top of your library is the main attractionespecially when combined with cards that let you play multiple lands in a turn.
If you get stuck on a card you can't play on top of your library, you you can use Glarb's ability to guard and control the topdeck and make it something you can cast. On top of that, Glarb's deathtouch also makes him a great blocker in combat.
You can use Glarb's surveillance ability at any time as long as it isn't tapped. It's best to use it during the end step before starting your turn to make sure there are cards you want to draw on top.

Eye of Duskcloak is one of the most synergistic cards with Glarb's surveillance ability. The Eye allows you use your life total to cast the spells you guarded into the graveyard. This allows you to use life to pay for your expensive spells if you don't have the mana to cast them normally.
As long as the cards were supervised in the graveyard, you could cast them on the turn they were on. Paying life is also optional, or you can pay mana to cast them if your life total is lower.
Eye of Duskmantle allows you to play multiple spells in one turn. Life is a resource in Magic, especially for Commanders with high starting life totals. Glarb can only cast spells with four or more mana from the top of your libraryso by guarding them in the graveyard you can cast them with Eye of Duskmantle instead.
Aesi, tyrant of the Gyre Strait

Not only does it let you play an extra land each turn, but it lets you draw a card every time a land comes in. How to play the deck
A Glarb, the Calamity Augur Commander deck is all about playing lands, surveillance, and taking advantage of all the effects that benefit from it. You won't be short of cards to play with as much mana generation as you can quickly get on the battlefield.
More cards allow you to play more lands in a turn. These include Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait, Dryad of the Illysian Grove, AND Loot, Exuberant Explorer to name a few, even the last one helps you move cards to the top of your deck with its ability to put a creature from the top six cards of your library onto the battlefield.
If you have multiple cards that grant an extra land drop on the battlefield, these effects stack. So if there are three, you can play three more lands per turn in addition to the normal land drop.
Regarding surveillance, Mirko, obsessive theorist, AND Spy Dimir help create solid attackers by growing each surveillance, Eye of Duskcloak allows you to cast extra spells and Enhanced surveillance allows you to surveil two extra cards each time you surveil.
THE The main victory condition of the deck is to win through combat. More cards create creatures when lands enter, such as Baloth unleashed AND Scuti Swarm. With how many lands you play, this token generation can make the game go crazy very quickly. Furthermore, you have Iridescent Vinelasher to deal burn damage with landfall goes out.
THE The deck's biggest drawback is its early-game weakness. It takes a bit of time to set up, but once you have creatures enabling your land-based primary strategies, things quickly start to snowball in your favor.
