Floating off the edge of the Netherstorm region in Outland, the former draenei dimensional fortress of Tempest Keep fell under the control of the traitor blood elf prince Kael'thas Sunstrider and his followers, as well as their demonic allies the Burning Legion .
Kael'thas Sunstrider himself, the master of this underground complex, he is the boss who drops the ashes of Al'ar to defeat. He is the final boss of the Tempest Keep raid instance, The Eye.

Where is the eye?
The entire Tempest Keep complex is located on the eastern border of Netherstormthe most north-eastern area of the Outlands.
The Eye is the largest and most central structure of the Tempest Keep complex.
