Animal requests

Whenever an animal appears on the map, you can talk to it and turn in quest items. The animals remain in their respective positions for 3 hours in real time. You can also use a Request ticket if you want another round of requests. Depending on the type of animalyou will receive different materials and essences for crafting. You can complete requests all at once without having to travel using Pete's Parcel Service.

You may receive a treasure map from a random gift balloon or by completing animal requests. If the map is marked with a Paper icon, you can open it and “roll” around the map by paying 1000 bells. Alternatively, you can clear the entire map, collecting every paper bag along the way, using Auto-Trek. The Auto-Trek will cost Leaf Tokens to “roll”/move, but it is the fastest way to clear the map. The final goal of a paper crafting materials map is x20 paper.

By asking for help and paying in leaf tokens, you can access the Shovelstrike Quarry five times a daybut if you're looking for paper, then you'll want to go when there is one paper crafting material icon on the quarry map icon. Each rock contains an ore (ruby, sapphire, gold nugget, silver nugget) that determines the amount of crafting materials and bells you will receive at the end.

• If you open the map, you may see a red or gold balloon. Touch them to receive crafting materials, bells and essence. Unfortunately, earnings from these balloons are random, so it's not a safe way to get paper.

• You can also receive a daily gift from other villagers in Whistle Pass if you have registered Camper Cards.

• Set a card-giving animal (bear, eagle, sheep, rhino, koala, octopus) as yours Camp keeper. From time to time, you can collect rewards from your field keeper, who will always have the respective crafting material, essence and bells.

• Talk to the animals at your campsite and in your cabin and they may give you a gift of crafting materials.

What furniture/clothing requires paper?

Go to the Craft menu at the bottom of the screen to create new furniture/clothes/services. When you try to invite new animals to your campsite, they will have a list of furniture you need to make before they join.
