- Where To Get A Voodoo Doll
While there’s already plenty to do with your Mischief skill in The Sims 4, one of the most directly influential things you can do when feeling mischievous is buy a Voodoo Doll, bind it to another Sim, and take over the reins of their life for a few hours.
The Sims 4: Mischief Skill Guide
In a game where you can be anything, be a menace.
Whether you’re trying to help or harm the target Sim, buying (or even finding) a Voodoo Doll in The Sims 4 is a quick way to build your Mischief skill and mess with the world around you. There are seven abilities tied to using the Voodoo Doll, which we explain below.
Where To Get A Voodoo Doll
Unfortunately for the most determined of Sims, you’ll need to have reached at least Level Three of the Mischief skill before you’re allowed to play with voodoo.
If you’re unsure how to do this, we’ve got a complete guide to the Mischief skill as well.
Once you’ve hit this benchmark, head to a computer on any lot for the most straightforward method of acquiring a Voodoo Doll.
While using a computer, you can find the Voodoo dolls on the Order menu of the PC. Here, a Voodoo Doll will cost 950 Simoleons.
However, if you’re low on funds, you stand a chance to find a Voodoo Doll while digging in digging spots around any world, or even occasionally while you’re out going fishing.
These are less common to find, so purchasing a Voodoo Doll in The Sims 4 is the easiest way to ensure you get one.
You’ve got a few options to get them with two different expansion packs, too:
- Playing with the Get Together expansion installed allows your Sim to attend the Humor & Hijinks Festival, at which a Voodoo Doll is a prize option for the winning team.
- Sims with a decent Fabrication skill in the Eco Lifestyle expansion can create their own Voodoo Doll with the Fabrication options.
How To Bind A Voodoo Doll
Once you have your Voodoo Doll on hand, you’ll need to first bind the doll to another Sim before it will have any impact.
After obtaining a Voodoo Doll, it will be placed in your Sim’s inventory immediately. From here, click it and select the Bind To… option.
Any nearby Sim is eligible to be bound to the Voodoo Doll, and you can also unbind them from the Voodoo Doll after reaching Level Five of the Mischief skill.
Just watch out, as the binding may backfire or fail, which makes your Sim either Uncomfortable or Sad.
Only one Sim can be bound to one Voodoo Doll at a time. If you’re trying to use Voodoo with several Sims, you’ll need several Voodoo Dolls, and maintain each of them separately.
Additionally, Voodoo Dolls are only applicable for Young Adult, Adult, or Elder Sims. Younger Sims cannot be bound to Voodoo Dolls, nor can they use them.
How To Use A Voodoo Doll
Once you’ve got another Sim bound to the Voodoo Doll, it’s time to start doing some actual voodoo! In the table below, you’ll find all the info you’ll need about all seven Voodoo Doll options.
You unlock new Voodoo Doll options as your Mischief skill levels up, so be sure to stay constant with your skill-building.
