How to defeat the Chaos Serpent in Fantasian Neo Dimension

You just defeated Vam, that must mean Neo fantastic size It's about to end, right? Ah, but it's only just begun. The Fields of Chaos are the aftermath of your encounter with Vam, but that great evil has been replaced by another: Jas. But before Leo can worry about that, he has to worry about himself.

In the Fields of Chaos, without allies or means to leave, Leo has no choice but to trudge forward in search of something, anything, to help him find his way back. On their own, the Fields of Chaos can be daunting, so read on to face them safely.

Find your way through the fields of chaos

At the gauntlet

Once Leo wakes up after the battle with Vam, he'll find himself in the Fields of Chaos, an area completely different from any other you've been to so far. Leo is also aloneso you will have to be as careful as possible so that you do not get defeated by the monsters here.

Fortunately,
casual encounters are also much less common
in this section where Leo is alone.

The path ahead is mostly linear, but be sure to check the map to find yourself exploring the optional routes as much as possible, as some powerful items are hidden inside. Here are the objects you can find along the way:

• Lolitaa jewel that will allow you to survive an attack that could otherwise defeat you with one HP.
• A Heal the stone.
• A Ether L.

By now, you'll have seen some mirages of Cheryl and Kina, and even Leo's father, Bernard. This will have brought you to a large hill, with the glove that Vam stole from Leo poised at the top. Leo defiantly climbs this hill, equipping the Gauntlet that holds his mother's spirit.

By equipping it, Leo gains the full power of his divine artifact, giving it a passive bonus to all fire attacks the same way the Divine Tiara did the ice attacks for Cheryl. However, it also has all its power unlock the growth map for Leo, letting him choose his own abilities and liabilities from now on.

With the Gauntlet now in your possession, proceed to the quest three L potions in a nearby chest before meeting a familiar face.

At the Laboratory

Last seen in the Machine World Secret Base before the battle with Vam, Prickle and Clicker were also dragged into the Fields of Chaosand cheerfully join Leo's party once again. Prickle has gained quite a few extra abilities since he was first in the group at the start of the game, so take the time to learn them now.

After handing you over three Heal Stones, ten Potion L and five Ether Lyou are free to explore once again. And as before, it's mostly linear with some powerful items hidden along the way. Here they are each:

• Great Jadea jewel that reduces your MP in exchange for an increase in your HP.

• Five Ether S.
• Pearl La jewel that greatly increases HP.
• Three poisoned apples.

By the time you reach the poisoned apples, you will have already seen them the large black sphere that you need to explore. Head towards it and inside to meet a new character and some vast knowledge about Leo's father.

Meeting with Valrica

After a brief exploration of the Laboratory, Valrica appearsa being that resembles, but is not quite, a human being. She is a being of Chaos, a natural resident of the Realm of Chaos. After looking at Leo and the glove on his arm, he immediately recognizes him as the son of Bernard, who used this very laboratory while in the Realm of Chaos.

Instead of explaining everything herself, she leads Leo into the next room, where a a litany of diary entries belonging to his father are preserved. These detail his discovery of the other realms and his efforts to revive his wife. Failing in this, he himself died and his soul also became trapped in the Gauntlet.

Keeping all this in mind, it only serves to strengthen Leo's resolve and… Valrika joins the group to assist him. Giving him a new warp drive, they set off to the Lakes of Chaos to find a suitable blue jewel to power it.

The Lakes of Chaos

Solving the Chaos Lakes Miasma Puzzle

Once you reach the Lakes of Chaos, Valrika will give you a brief explanation on how to acquire the blue jewels: you must defeat the Serpent of Chaosbut first you must summon it. This requires amplifying the miasma of the lakes in the correct order.

In simpler terms, this means interacting with each lake in the order they erupt. Do this correctly and each lake will erupt, summoning the Serpent of Chaos into the large central geyser.

Eruptions begin within head towards the central geyser and interact with it. This will take you to an overview of the area where you can see each erupting lake in order. There will be five lakes that will erupt, although the order will always be random. Therefore, you will have to do your best to remember it.

After interacting with all the eruptions in the right order (e took the glue from the chest in the upper left corner), the Chaos Serpent will appear in the central geyser. Save to save point e heal before continuing. You will need full HP and MP for the future fight.

Defeat the Chaos Serpent

Before starting the fight with the Chaos Serpent, it is worth it investing some points in Leo's Growth Map. While there are many paths you could take, none that you are likely to reach at the moment will be of much help against the Chaos Serpent. As such, unlocks the Jewel Slot+ ability instead, let Leo equip two jewels at once.

We have equipped the Garnet M and Perla L jewelsgiving Leo increased attack and a decent amount of extra HP. This boss is a battle of attrition, so it is essential to have as much HP on Leo as possible.

As always, be sure to do so Analyze the Chaos Serpent first so you can constantly monitor his HP during battle. Initially, it's not an exceptionally tough fight. It's when the boss enters the second phase that things get a little more complicated.

As can already be understood from the attacks, the Chaos Serpent is all about poisonous attackswhich you probably have no way to defend yourself from at the moment. Therefore, we will focus on a strategy that is based on things that you are sure to have or can still acquire. We aim for longevity.

The initial half of the fight is fairly simple. Any poison thrown can and should be taken care of by Prickleand can also be the main healer in general. Meanwhile, Leo should always use it Helmet hit reduce the boss's defense, e Samidare to get as many hits as possible. If you feel confident, you can use a shift use the concentrate also on Leo.

With Valrika, you'll want to use Slow as much as possible to give you an advantage against the boss. Otherwise, he will attack using his normal attack to conserve MP, using Heal when needed, and using Ethers to restore others' MP. Leo is our main attacker.

This means that once the boss uses Poison Feast for the first time they will cast Poison Floor on the next turn. Immediately cast Barrier All with Prickle. This will prevent you from being poisoned on the turn Poison Floor is called. It's only a temporary fix, but it gives you one turn where the boss can't use Poison Feast against you.

From this moment on the battle continues as before. Don't worry about curing the poison since he will come back anyway. Instead, prioritize healing at all costs. Once the boss has obtained all three charges, they will use Poison Breath on their next turn. To prepare for this, cast Crush with Valrika to lower their attack and use Barrier All with Prickle.

The Wall will be broken instantly, but it will mitigate a good portion of the damage. If you have more than 2,000 HP on each character, only one of them will be mandatory. Use this turn before the attack to defend yourself and recover as much HP and MP as possible so you can attack again on the next turn.

The Poison status effect can also kill your party members
and takes around 200-300 HP per turn. Make sure you never end a turn with less HP than this if you want them to survive.

And that's all there is to fight. Until Leo keeps the boss's defense lowthey can easily deal enough damage with Samidare. Try not to be overzealous when the boss is low on HP unless you are sure you can defeat it. Leo will deal approximately 1,700-2,000 damage for Samidare.
