The game has you doing plenty of jumping, climbing, and puzzle-solving throughout. All of this is so you can enter Dogtown and potentially save the President from a disastrous situation. Even though it’s light on action, it’s a solid first quest to introduce you to everything and get you up to speed with what’s going on with the President. Here is a walkthrough of the full job.

Meet With Songbird

The quest begins with you getting a call from a stranger who calls herself Songbird. She says she can save your life and asks you to meet her. So, head to the meeting spot on the border between Pacifica and the new region called Dogtown.

When you get there, you will find a roadblock. On foot, follow the path forward and turn the corner. The objective tells you to find Songbird, but once you get far enough around the corner, she will find you.

Then, the two of you have a conversation where she informs you of the situation and unlocks extra skills for you.

Make It To The Parking Garage

When the conversation with Songbird is nearing completion, she begins to walk away. Follow her a bit before she disappears. You will get a new objective to find a way into the parking garage.

There are plenty of guards between you and the garage. Thankfully, there is a dumpster right in front of you that can put you much closer to your target without alerting everyone.

Once you go through the dumpster, you enter a restricted area, meaning the guards will attack you on sight. As this is Cyberpunk 2077, you can either sneak past them or start shooting people.

Either way, you need to make it to the partially opened garage door, which is to the left of the dumpster entrance, on the other side of a few guards. It has a lit-up ‘V’ above it.

If you’re using stealth, hug the right wall, as that can get you around most of the enemies.

Once you get to the door, hit the prompt to enter.

Find The Maintenance Room And Restore The Power

Now, you’re in the garage, but you must go down further. So, head into the next room by crouching and walking through the hole. Then, interact with the metal sheet to move it out of the way.

Once you drop down, Songbird will tell you to find a maintenance room and an access point. The room isn’t hard to find as the camera points directly to the entrance to it.

Head inside and turn right to find the access point. When you go up to it, V points out there’s no power, so they can’t use it.

This leads to the next step, where you have to turn on the power.

Head left from the access point and drop down to the next area. From here, keep going forward to enter a small room that contains a generator.

Scan the machine and then just go up to the little screen and turn it on. Now, return to the access point and jack into it.

Make Your Way Through The Parking Garage

After messing with the access point, a platform comes down. Hop onto it and take the elevator down.

The next part is pretty self-explanatory as you simply follow the path ahead as you talk to Songbird. She will occasionally move things around for you, and at one point, you have to jump on top of a truck to progress.

Eventually, you fall down into an area below. From here, continue forward and walk across the makeshift bridge before walking up a turned-over car.

Next, wait for Songbird to create a path for you while giving her your opinion on Johnny. Once the platform is in place, jump over to it.

Then, follow the path upwards until it splits in two.

If your Body level is ten or higher, you can go left and push down a big platform. If your Body is lower than ten, you must take the path to the right.

Both paths eventually lead to the same place, but the left one gets you there faster.

Regardless of which route you take, you just need to follow the path Songbird lights up for you.

Songbird’s path eventually leads to a broken catwalk that you must jump to. Once you’re on the unstable path, head forward to find Songbird on the other side.

Now, you can just follow her and the path she creates all the way to an elevator.

Reach The Construction Site

Once the elevator trip is over, head forward and force open a door. Then, make your way through some beads, up the stairs, and out into the market.

You can explore the market and do some trading, but it isn’t required for the quest. All you have to do is locate the construction site.

So, head right and walk through the market. Eventually, you will find a set of small stairs on your left. Head up them and then the next set before walking through the open door.

At this point, Songbird wants to chat. Therefore, you need to go up to her and engage in a short conversation.

Following this, keep making your way through the market. After a bit of walking, you go past a few storage containers and reach a blue door. Head through it and then go up the stairs to reach the construction site.

Climb To The Roof

Your next objective is to climb to the top of the roof. Getting up the first bit is easy as you can use the ladder in the center of the area or the ramp on your left to get up. Then Songbird tries to bring an elevator down for you, but it stops. Therefore, you must restart the generator to get it going again.

To do so, simply interact with the panel to the left of the elevator. You get two dialog options, and you can pick either of them.

Then, get on the elevator and hit the button to send you to the roof. After the elevator ride, clamber up the ruined building and make your way through it.

After that, use the ramps to get to the higher level. Up there, you will see Songbird again, and a cutscene will play out.

Once that’s over, slide down the chute to end the quest.
